Hello. I have always been overweight and I am still struggling to lose it. My mobility is limited due to osteoarthritis in both knees and the back which limits the types of exercise I can do. I am eating healthier since starting on Sparkpeople. I am gradually making progress-but it is a slow process. Recovery from back surgery has me concentrating on endurance and exercise and a higher protein diet.

My name is Diana and I grew up on a farm in Indiana. I moved to Indianapolis after college (the first time). I am 56, single and have two cats who are spoiled. I am a melanoma cancer survivor. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and my back. I have been overweight since grade school and the toll is hurting my health. I need to lose the weight to keep my mobility.
