My Life...


I am a Home-maker, Folk Artist, full time...I have a back injury which prohibits me from running, hiking for long periods of time, etc...I have had to battle my weight most of my adult life...I Used to be a pretty regular runner/walker, on average 5 miles a day, which really helped keep my weight in check...over the last few years, since I have gotten married, I have steadily gained weight and am sick of it...

My Goals:
Overall to lose 150 pounds...I want to be healthy again, am tired of feeling sluggish, and out of shape, and want to go snow shoeing next year!!


Goal one: Lose 35 pounds by January 1st, 2009

Goal Two: Lose 60 pounds by April 1st, 2009

Goal 3: Lose 95 pounds by July 1st, 2009



My Program:
 One day at a time...small changes, incorporating them into a new outlook and life-style...

Diana, Married, Home-maker/Folk/Prim artist...Love to travel, cook, garden, camp ( tent) and be creative...Upstate NY close to Saratoga, I am formerly from NW Ohio...Been in NY for over 8 years now...

Favorite Music: Pretty much everything but rap...I enjoy everything from U2, to Allison Krause..

    Your page is great! The photo of sunset over the water is so encouraging. I've camped through the Adirondacks, hiked up Mt. Marcy, in my thinner years. Seeing that photo reminds me of why I want to change things. I want to be able to hike those trails again.

    I , too, used to run all the time, until an injury put me in bed and physical therapy for several months. Since then I've gained a ton of weight. I miss being able to be active, and do the things I loved.

    So glad you included pics of your work. You've been a real encouragement, thanks for sharing.
