COOPQUILTLADY
Hi Karla, I don't know if you will get this or not. I haven't been on here for a long time, either. I have sad news. My husband suffered a massive heart attack and passed away on May 13. I have been so busy with accounts, and sorting, and thank yous. He was well known in the community and the outpouring has been tremendous. We were best friends, and I'm really going to miss him. :( Pam 2118 days ago

Hi Karla, What sewing table did you end up ordering? I have wanted one too, but it isn't high on the priority list because I have a useable table that my dad made back in the 1990's.
I would love to see your tumbler quilt, that is one I have not done! I did a blue and white quilt for my daughter Sarah when she was in high school, she still uses it on her bed and it always looks so fresh.
The pattern that I used is actaully for exercise shorts or capri pants. It is a McCall's M6360 and I used view A the shortest one.
I will post pictures once we get the proofs from the photographer!
Just 9 days until the wedding here! I am getting excited but also tired and ready for a few free days too. The bride is coming to town on Saturday and she will help with a lot of the last minute things to be done.
I hope all is well with you, I'm wondering what you are sewing now. I am shortening my little son's suit pants, the bridesmaid's dress, and finishing my own dress too.

Hi Karla! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. In my introduction on my spark page I explain a bit of what has been going on here. But I know you have been through your own medical challenges this last year too. I had some pre-cancerous spots burned out of my right lung, and now I have a lung infection but I am feeling better. No more sharp pains when I breathe! I am in my sewing room as I type this making "cartwheel shorts", they are like bike shorts but in a skin color to wear under summer dresses. I have black and white, and the girls wanted some too. I have 2 done and 2 to go! I have not sewn in months because I have felt so poorly. I really have missed it. Love being back at the machine, and planning out projects! Hope all is well with you, I look forward to seeing your newest projects too. Annette 2518 days ago

I am so sorry you have been through so much health wise. A back problem is so hard to live with. I know what it is to go through a lot of therapy. It is painful. In the same breath I can say it does help. Keep doing you exercises for your back. I do believe we will pull through anything, because we have the LORD to help us always! 2537 days ago
