35 Years Later
I lost about 70 pounds when I was 25 years old. Now I'm almost 60 yrs old and weight almost 300 pounds. What I accomplished 35 years ago I can do again. I remember I felt better physically and emotionally when I lost weight. I want to regain those feelings.

My Goals:
My primary goal is to lose weight and become healthier. I don't want to be supermodel skinny just a normal size where I can breath easier and have the energy to get up and do things instead of sitting on the couch all the time.
My Program:
Logging my food and keeping up with the calories, fat content, carbs, and fiber. I need to incorporate some type of exercise but am experiencing knee and hip pain most of the time. But I know other people found ways so I'm not giving up on it yet.
Personal Information:
Grew up mostly in Louisiana and Arkansas with brief stints in Oscoda, MI and Casa Grande, AZ. Lived in Juneau AK in my 20's, then Reno NV for a while. Moved back to LA after divorce and then took job in AR. Retired now and back to hometown in Louisiana.
Other Information:
Love to read almost any type of fiction (except bodice ripper romances).
Like experimenting with new (simple) recipes. Play with my spoiled mini pincher, Spanky Doodle. Bug my son about making me a grandma.
