As a nurse, you develop a poker face and you learn to never be surprised by anything. You also try to remember that not everyone is a nurse and be careful about talking medical stuff with people who are not. LOL The gym intimidates me too, but all of the machines have instructions and the gym staff are usually very helpful in showing you anything if you have any questions--even if you don't pay for a personal trainer. Most gyms will give you a tour and explain the equipment. They don't want you to injure yourself using equipment incorrectly. What intimidates me the most is that I feel so self conscious because of my size and gym clothes are not flattering!! But I tell myself that some of those slim and trim folks were not always slim and trim and they are not judging me. Now I must log off of Spark and get to studying and fitting in some exercising. I hope that you have a great day! 2160 days ago

I like your non-GENERIC questions. ;). I am an LPN and I am going for RN. LPN was the hardest thing that I ever done. RN is a little easier because I already have a nursing background, but it's still challenging and requires lots of studying. Does the gym equipment still intimidate you? Don't let it. Everyone had to learn to use the equipment for the first time. 2160 days ago
