Hi Spark Friends,

I am a married, 30-something working mom of 2 who has struggled with my weight up and down since elementary school. I've successfully lost weight many times, but I've also gained it back. I'm ready to admit that I should try following the expert advice of tracking food and exercise and joining a support network since I have not been able to maintain a healthy weight in over 18 years. Would love any Spark Friends who are interested in staying on Spark People all year and help to encourage each other through weight loss and beyond. I need to lose about 60 pounds. My husband doesn't want to be my accountability partner because he says its against his best interests to tell me to back away from the cheese. So....I need some Spark Friends!

I want my life to reflect a servant’s heart, bringing glory to God each day through my activities and reflecting all fruits of the Spirit: Kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, love, joy, peace, patience and SELF-CONTROL.
I want to be healthy, relaxed, fun and joyful from anyone’s point of view (family, peers, doctors, children, objectively by the numbers) without use of substances or medications. I want to maximize each day to its fullest potential, having the time energy to enjoy any athletic endeavor or experience in nature I desire to participate in. I need to spend less time at work by staying focused and organized and being efficient. I need to reduce stress by reading the Bible, praying, eating well, exercising, getting enough sleep, being present with my family and attending to each of their needs before doing anything else.
