Introduction Text After raising kids and paying the bills? It's past time that I get myself right again. This is 20 years in the making of a turn around. I've started a YouTube channel called NewLeaf TurnOver. Showing the struggle on a daily basis. It's helping me hold myself accountable. Since my mom died at 54 and my biological dad died 3 years before her at 51, I always figured what was the point of even trying. Because I figured that I would be lucky if I even made it further than 55. But damit? Why TF should I settle for that? Not to be morbid. But suicide takes on more than one form. And my loaded gun takes the form of multiple trips to the buffet. And I be damn if I continue pulling that trigger and waiting for the final bang.
