My goal is to eat healthy and exercise. If I loose weight it is a plus. I have also followed the Diabetes program. I don't have any issues. However, my son has type two Diabetes. While he is already on his own I wanted to know what he has to follow and live with everyday. This is just a better way to understand what he is facing. It is also a better way for me to prepare healthier meals when he comes over. My husband is benefiting from the change to healthier eating and exercise as well. I told my son, he said he wasn't surprised I wanted to learn more. It gave him the opportunity to open up to his personal challenges. So, healthier diet, more exercise, more water and I know I will loose weight. My personal goal is to go the distance and not to give up after four months. I am on my way! 2020: Keep moving forward! Word of the year: Rest . Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you reat. Matthew11:28 . Clarity to move forward. Winter challenge / drink that water, a struggle for me. Exercise 10 minutes longer. Usually do 30 minutes. Some days more. Increase whatever the amount is on that day by 10 minutes. 10/1 Weight Loss Plan: Weigh & measure food, track nutrition, daily motivation, make meal with portion controls. Engage in challenges. Take it one day at a time. Enjoy the health journey. Nonfood rewards for accomplishments; , scenic walk, rest day once a week, haircut. New goal: Weight once a week on same day. Note to self: Seems like I may have goals covered. Move forward, learn and don’t look back!

emoticon Only on this day people get up early to stand in line at stores,
and trample each other for all the sales they have, even though you said
you were thankful for everything you have yesterday?
Do you tell yourself "I don' really need it, but it's on sale."
emoticon What do you think...will you go shopping on this day,
avoid the rush, or stay at home, spending time to put up your Christmas
tree, adding lights, bulbs, whatever you may like, and decorating your house.
While you sit back and relax, with a cup of hot cider, or hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music, you can enjoy how the tree looks and how beautiful your home looks because you took that time so you could enjoy it all
