This time I am not going to give up. I will not be influenced by diet magazies and will subscribe only to those which endorse health. My life has revolved around losing weight & I want it to stop. I want and need to be healthy, stop emotional eating, and find new priorites such as traveling to South America to help orphans and finishing my degree.

Fitness Minutes: 120

My Goals:
My goal is not to lose weight, as much as it is to get in the best shape of my life. I would really like to burn the fat the remains on my stomach so that my long worked for abs finally show!

My Program:
High protein, low fat diet. Pilates, power yoga, and running. (3-5 miles a day / 5 days a week.)If sore, hurting, or tired, walk for several miles.

"The Don''t Diet, Live It!" workbook is practically saving my life. I have been an emotional eater, a black & white thinker, a perfectionist for as long as I can remember. This book is truely helping me to recognize my emotions and not to "stuff" them with food or "starve" them to feel numb.

I have never really reached my goal in fitness...I have been very thin and I have been overweight. Now, I just want to be happy, fit, and healthy! I''m trying to lose my obsession with thinness, and become more concerned with my health and spiritual well-being.

    Rosechic, Good luck on your 5K race. You mentioned you'd love to complete a triathlon. I think anyone can do it if you train. You should go for it. You can do a sprint distance which is 1/2 mile swim, 12-14 mile bike & then 3-5 mile run. They are a lot of fun and get you in great shape. It's about feeling healthy, not just losing weight! Good Luck!
