Introduction Text The road is rough and I truly now understand that this journey will last me a lifetime. I have an eating disorder and food is my friend and my enemy. I love to eat healthy now, it gives me a sense of control, self-esteem and health. I love to eat junk food too, it gives me comfort and takes me away from my every day problems and tribulations... all of which are minor in comparison to what others struggle with day in and day out. The key to peace and transquility with my weight has to do with me. I am in total control of how I want to live and how I want to look and feel. The choices are easy when I'm on track and they are OH so difficult when I don't pay attention to what foods I put in my body. I've been off and on my healthy eating plan now for 18 months. I've not hit my goal weight but I've taken my weight down about 80#. I'm proud but I'm frustrated as well. I hate having food control me the way it does.. but I understand these are the cards I've been dealt and I must learn how to play them each and every day. I'm happy now, just a bit frustrated with myself. I've gained about 10# back and I'm determined to take it right back off... and more. My goal is to lose another 30# by July 4th... and I'm going to make it. Focus will get us to our goal!

1) Get to 270 by 9/1/07 - GOAL MET! Get to 245 by 11/1/07 - Weighed 250... still goin' Weigh 230 on Christmas! - Weighed in at 237! Weigh 228 on 1/25/08 (B'Day). - Weighed in at 230! Weigh 222 on 2/14/08 (for my Valentine)! Weight 215 on 3/15/08 Weigh 205 on 4/15/08 (tax day!) Weight 199 on May 1st!! 2) Eat healthy food for each meal 3) Track my food intake daily 4) Journal each day

1) I have set realistic, healthy food goals for myself. 2) I am journaling my food daily to identify my food triggers. 3) I am committed to exercise each day (working on this one!)

I refuse to give up on this battle of the fat and I am committed to reaching the final chapter of my life in a fit and healthy physical state of body and mind!

Weight issues have daunted me my entire life. I so want to understand this disease of overeating. It isn't normal and my search for answers is getting clearer to me thanks to my friends at SP. We CAN do this together!
