Running For Lots of Reasons


Hello! Three years ago I started this weight loss journey at 147 lbs. today I'm 127 and have stalled there for a full year.

Please note: My scale is possessed! (it's usually 5lbs nicer than the docs scale but is usually true to itself).

I took up running last summer and wow! it has changed me, physically, mentally, emotionally - I highly recommend it. Unfortunately with running I got this mindset that I could watch the diet less, eat more chocolate, etc etc. ...

I've kids, a very part time job (still consider myself a stay at home mom), married 15 years (my DH a long time marathoner) love music, and a bit shut away from the world so hoping to make some online friends!

What ever your goals are I hope we can support each other through and reach them together!

My Goals:
Run 1,000 miles in 2009!
(Done! I've run 1,171 as of 12/30!)

Run my First Marathon October 2009! - I DID IT!!! 26.2 in 4 hrs 25 minutes!!

Loose the last of my weight with proper diet and core work! (Still working on it ; -)

My Program:
 Counting calories.

Eating good calories .

Learn to love Core work!

Married with kids.

Outdoorsy family.

Big 'Lost' Fan.
