Before ChaLEAN Extreme and Turbo Jam/FIRE I was 30+ pounds over weight. When I got started the first thing I noticed was that I was actually having FUN and enjoying a workout program! And since then I have lost 35+ pounds and after 2 kids I am in the best shape of my life. The best part is that I have energy to keep up with my boys, I'm proud of how I look, and I still love these workouts!

More about me?

(For those of us who have been friends on here for a while we moved back to the USA this summer so life has been CRAZY getting adjusted! The boys are finally feeling at home and we are getting settled into our new city! My husbands diet has continued to get crazier, he is now not only gluten/dairy/sugar free but also has had to cut out bananas and eggs! My business is growing and that is partly why I haven't been as active on here as I'd like! I am wishing you a Merry Christmas and WONDERFUL New Year! Dream BIG!)

I have been married for almost 10 years to my best friend. We met working together for a Non-Profit Organization in Denver but fell in love as we led a team of workers to Africa to help children in need. We have dedicated our lives to educating people in countries around the world. We've been around the globe and back and I'm happy to say I still have a slight lead on countries visited~ my 42 to his 36! We have been living in China for the last 4 years.

We have two boys~ Joshua Diego is 7 and Zachary Drake is 3. Diego is my prince charming and Zachary is my joy. They keep me busy and remind me why I take care of my body. They deserve me at my best and working out helps give me the discipline, energy, and deep strength I need to do that. I have miscarried 5 sweet babies which was heartbreaking each time.

I love my life and the adventure it brings. This whole 'getting fit' thing has been a journey and not an overnight process. Sometimes I take steps back but I am where I am because even in those moments I just kept going. You can do this! I found that small changes over time have added up into a new lifestyle and I do everything in moderation when it comes to food. There is nothing that I have completely cut out- just changed my portion sizes!

My new favorite quote that I put up on my mirror~ It's from Chalene of course bc she inspires me in so many ways...

"Know how blessed you are to be able to work this hard."

She says this at the end of one of the workouts and it always hits me right to my core. I don't always have the best attitude going into my workouts but let me tell you I should appreciate everyday that my body can workout as hard as it does.

2. All time favorite workouts are TurboFIRE and ChaLEAN extreme. I am currently doing Les Mills Pump which has been very fun!

Mom. Wife. I have traveled to over 42 countries and done everything from working in orphanages to building water towers to simply enjoying the beauty of God's creation. I enjoy the adventure of it all! :-)

    I'm considering starting the CLX/TF Hybrid and had a couple of questions. Do the workouts have to be done consecutively, or can you do your TF in the morning, CLX in the evening, etc? Also, I know the results wouldn't be the same, but do you know of anyone who has done a simplified version? i.e. Doing alternating days of CLX with TF? I'm worried that I won't finish the 12 week program doing 2+ workouts a day - I just don't always have that much time to devote to it. That being said, I need results. Just curious to hear your thoughts. :)
