thanks for the comment on my blog.
i so often forget that sometimes sp friends havent read blogs from way back.
i have had success with sp. lost a total of 70 lbs.
then began having some issues and allowed myself to fall off the horse.
but i nipped it in the bud before it went too far.
now i think i am just stuck in limbo.
    not gaining or really losing.
    but trying.
thanks again, and congrats on the weight loss.

Thanks for commenting on my activity feed. It's good to know that the pain of physical therapy will help me in the long run. It really does feel like medieval torture now!!

thanks for stopping by my blog,
in january, 2013, i broke my left foot and was sent to a sports injury doctor. he is in the orthopaedic clinic at my local hospital and he was a great help to me.
it was he who first tested me for vitamin d and found me to be deficient,
placed me on high doses of vitamin d and gave me literature on the health issue.
my bone wasnt healing. i would go once every two weeks for a new xray, and the callus just wasnt forming, he told me where the break occured, in the last metatarsil bone on the outside of my foot, it would be almost useless to place a pin or screw, so he had me wearing a bone growth stimulator for 9 hours a day, it took about 6 months for that bone to heal and he told me it would never be exactly as it was before.
i went to him last year after beginning to have problems in that foot again, was sent for electro tests to see if i had nerve damage. the neuro told me i do have very mild neuropathy in that foot, which is probably just wear and tear and maybe some damage from the break. i have considered making an appointment with him over this right foot issue i am now having. i dont know what he could do other than the same as the podiatrist, fit me for new orthotics, etc.
so i am going to hold off and hope that time and staying off the track for a few weeks will help.
thanks again for the comment, i will let you know if i go back.
