I'm the mommy of a three-year-old (and loving it!), a birth doula, and a science fiction and fantasy writer in my copious (ha!) free time. Pregnancy complications did a number on my body, but let's face it - it wasn't in the greatest shape to begin with. I want to get back to the lifestyle that was *mine,* before I let myself adapt to other people. Really, that means dancing till I drop and enjoying being in my body! In order to do that, though, I have to fix this spirit house of mine. Core, pelvis, neck, they all need work! After three ankle sprains in a year and a half, it's obvious I need to start from the ground up.

My ultimate goal is to become a strong, independent woman in all ways, so that I may be a positive influence not only in my son's life, but in all the lives I touch.

Step 1: Stress Weight: Achieved 11/12/13!
Release stress weight to achieve post-pregnancy set-point (236)

Step 2: Pregnancy Weight
1. Take a ballroom class
2. Let go of the pounds I no longer need from growing an amazing little boy (218)

Step 3: Bad Place Binge Weight
1. Achieve a 5k time under 38 minutes
2. Burn off most of the calories I converted to fat in FL (199)

Step 4: Bad Choices Weight
1. Hike a 14er
2. Take control of the pounds that tacked on when I felt out of control of my life (180)

Step 5: Self-Hate Weight
1. Learn burlesque
2. Relinquish the adipose body armor (160)
