WITH FITNESS/EXERCISE!!! In a blog with the same title as above I explain how I got off track and how I'm getting back on track. So now that I know where I stand and I have found my motivation and LOVE once more of taking care of my health I'm ready to make some permanent changes! JOIN ME!!! (Please read my goals and the extra info about myself. Perhaps we have something in common and can become sparkbuddies!)

My specific goals with time line~
*Reach 155 lbs by 10/4/15*
*Reach 145 lbs by 11/8/15*
*Reach 133 lbs by 12/20/15*
*Reach 120 lbs by 1/31/16*

[I want to reach my ultimate goal in about 5.5 months.]

I'm an alcoholic and am fighting to stay sober each day. SparkPeople is a place where I feel supported a free to talk about my daily struggles. I want to get and STAY sober long term. I want to lose 45 pounds. I want to become balanced and learn to forgive myself and leave the past in the past. I want to become more organized and to be a better mom also.

I am here to get help to reach my goals as well as help others to reach theirs too. Every day sober, every hour sober, every moment sober is a small victory for me. My alcoholism is very much linked to my whole life. Getting sober means more to me than what first may appear to the eyes.

Being sober for me means to live, to be present in my own life as well as the lives of those around me that i love. It means finding my sanity again. It means becoming a more spiritual person. It means being healthy. It means actually making an effort in my life again.

I hope if you're reading this that we can help each other on this journey, no matter what your goals are, because truly we all just want the same thing don't we? To be happy and healthy! :)

My Goals:
* Pray every day and do my personal Bible study

* Work out 5 days a week (3 days cardio/ 2 days strength training)

* Get my house organized

These goals support my main goal to be sober so that I can be a better person.


My Program:
I go on walks, play badminton and garden, bike riding and hiking too [mostly with my family We love to be outside together]. I also like to do DVD workouts like Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire and PiYo. I have a treadmill for cold rainy days too.

I am tracking the foods I eat and any healthy activities so I can become more aware of my choices and make better ones.

Some more goals:

Eating more fruits, vegetables and greens, while cutting down on bad fats, junk food, late night eating, over eating. Making myself get up and MOVE. Stop being sedentary!

I take supplements every day as well as fiber to help feel better, fuller and healthier.

More about me:

I have 2 daughters, I'm happily married, stay at home mom. Most days I get up and have my morning coffee, go outside [with my body guard, and baby, my pit bull], I pray, I read some thing spiritual and then write in my journal. I enjoy a simple life. Besides journaling I like to:

charcoal sketch,
listen to music,
play on my piano [keyboard],
sometimes write short stories or poems,
go to the zoo and gardens,
watch the stars,
and [this year] take trips to the roller coaster park! :-)

Maybe later I'll add to this list, lol.
