Hi there!
I am an ALMOST post-college student who loves DISNEY and musical theatre. I'm a singer and actor, and also studying education & want to work with little kiddies. I recently got the travel bug while studying abroad in Germany for a year, and I want to continue to travel and live abroad.
I have a sweet goofy boyfriend who also wants to lose weight, and I want to inspire him to start his own journey!

*I'm sure I'll upload some real pictures one of these days, but these pics just represent parts of me :)

I want to lose weight in the usual areas, arms, legs, bottom, tummy, and face. I used to be a dancer so I still have a dancer's body, but with some flab on top :)
I love to dance and perform, so I really want to feel comfortable to move on the stage without thinking about fixing my costume to cover flab etc.
I really want to strengthen my legs and my abs, because I work with kids and want to feel free to run with them and squat and bend to play with them etc.

Fitness Minutes: 120

My Goals:
Lose weight by Christmas, in hopes that my family will go to Hawaii or somewhere warm for Christmas and I can feel comfortable in a bathing suit in front of my over-judgemental/rude family members.

My Program:
Right now, I am trying to plan my meals a little better, and just make time to walk outside for 15 minutes. I am living in Germany until August so things are a little different than they will be once I get home. I just need to get moving!

Personal Information:
I'm about to graduate college after a few extra years, and really want to move abroad or at least live abroad for a few years. I sing and act, play the piano, enjoy scrapbooking, like Doctor Who and British TV, traveling, and baking!! I am not very interested in eating fat free, low fat, sugar free yadayada, just good, real food. I prefer to be dairy free, and have done bouts of gluten free diets, as well as sugar free (NO FAKE SUGARS).

Other Information:
I'd love to meet other people interested in eating whole, real foods. I enjoy shopping at Trader Joes and the local "Whole Foods"-type store (but way better) as well as eating local fruits and veggies and supporting local farmers and businesses!

    Are you competitive by nature? One of my daily goals is to hit 100 SparkPoints. When I do that, I've not only read articles, I've interacted with other members by reading and commenting on their blogs and writing my own blog. 100 points gets me here and gets me active each and every day.

    When I started, I made the commitment to workout daily and write a blog about it. On days when I don't feel like doing it, I think about the blog I need to write and I certainly do NOT want to write that I was lazy and did not work out.

    Maintain your goals on your SparkPage (that's what all the goal-setting gurus write about) and make the goals public on your page. Write about it on your blog every day.

    Weight loss = calorie maintenance, cardio, and strength. Calorie maintenance is every day, cardio is at least five days per week, and strength is 3 to 4 days per week. I believe you need all three for a successful weight loss and fitness program.

    Above all, be consistent. Doing something toward you goal every day will pay big rewards over the next few months. You can do this!

    I love what you say about wanting to get the most about your body now, when you should be at your prime. That's really perceptive, and I think you will be successful here because you're smart like that.
