I've done this health and fitness thing too many times to count. I have all the tools and knowledge to be successful. I just need the tenacity to stick with it! Patience is not a virtue of mine, which causes me to always fall off the wagon. What's worse is that my husband works out alot and is very fit without watching what he eats, so he often leads me down the path of temptation and I really need to be delivered from his temptation shenanigans.
I joined SP in October 2012 and had immediate success. Within 5 months I'd lost 25lbs and felt great. Spring and Summer arrived and I was ready! I was cuter, in smaller clothes and feeling really good about myself. What was the only thing to do? Indulge! I totally went off plan and into the land of denial. I wouldn't even look at the scale. I didn't reach my initial weight loss goal in the time I'd planned and now I have some catching up to do. I should be at my goal weight right now but I am far from it. Each day I am taking strides to get where I want to be and maintain a healthy weight.

Thanks for your comment on my page. It is hard to get back in focus again but you can do it. I know how it is to have a husband who eats everything. Mine doesn't work out everyday but thinks he can eat anything and everything. We have gotten to a stage in our lives, after 42 years of marriage, that we fix individual meals and I can eat what I want and he fixes what he wants. I periodically venture away from SP but always end up coming back. It does work for me if I track my nutrition and exercise and hopefully it will work for you. emoticon emoticon

Welcome to Sparkpeople! Thank you so much for leaving feedback on my Blog today. I am going to try taking one full week of rest every 8-10 weeks to see how that works for me.

Wishing you much success on your journey, too.
