Short Term Goals:

1. Finish the 12-Week New You Challenge.
2. Jog a full lap at YMCA-Downtown.
3. Get back into Onederland.
4. Wear jeans again! Wear blue polka dot dress! Wear Harley Quinn PJ's!
5. Cookie Daze race - Newton - June 15, 2019 - benefits victims/families of DV/sexual assault & Caring Hands Humane Society.

These things can only be achieved by PRAYING (#1), getting HONEST with myself, choosing to eat healthy and use my tools (WILLINGNESS), talk to someone when I'm struggling (OPEN-MINDEDNESS), exercise to manage my moods (THERAPY), not weighing myself when I'm feeling compulsive/obsessive about my weight (the scale is NOT my friend and that number is JUST a number), refraining from CHILDISH self-centeredness, and being a SURVIVOR instead of playing the victim. Food is not good/bad, and it NOT a reward.


My Program:
- Attending OA, using my sponsor, abstaining from trigger foods and compulsive eating behaviors.
- 12 Week New You challenge workouts (Mon/Wed/Fri)
- YMCA classes and/or cardio (Tues/Sat)
- training for the Y triathalon

Spring Prairie Fire Half Marathon/5K

Once I get back into running, I'd like to do a 5K every 6 weeks or so just to keep in shape and trained up. I would like to do a half at some point.

    Hey, Stephanie. Looks like my birthday greeting was way late! I got the impression from one of your blogs, I think, that your birthday had been more recent. Anyway, even if it was a while back, I congratulate you for making it through another year, and I hope your next one will be full of joy.

    My birthday is December 29th. I'll be 62!! Surreal! Inside, I still often feel like a teenager, with all my issues and insecurities. Time to grow up!

    Colorado has such a big sky, but I imagine the sky in Kansas is even bigger. I'd love to see the Great Plains someday.
