For the past five years I have traveled the US with my husband Shannan. I worked at many resorts within the National Parks including at North Rim Grand Canyon and most recently Bryce Canyon in Southern Utah. In the off-season, we travel to visit friends and family.

Often, winter is a time of deep introspection and also for my creativity to have free reign. However, I tend to deal with winter weight gain from less activity. I want to get back on track so I will be ready for more adventures in the coming months.

I enjoy creating art, especially art that helps heal emotional wounds, trauma, etc. I am currently studying Expressive Arts and hope to get a certification in the next few years as a facilitator. My travels have definitely broadened my perspective and contributed to personal growth.

You are so completely correct..... I have bushels of things to be thankful for and I fail to acknowledge those moments and have been concentrating on the bad areas of my life for so long.
Recently one of the younger ministers at our church set me (everyone really) to re-read Proverbs. WOW! I really had slipped so far away and didn't even realize the fact.

TY for the encouragement and for keeping tabs on me! emoticon

WE can do this with His help and by helping those around us.....
TY for being one of those friends that pushes us gently from the sidelines! emoticon emoticon

“Renew, release, let go. Yesterday’s gone. There’s nothing you can do to bring it back.
You can’t “should’ve” done something. You can only DO something. Renew yourself. Release that attachment. Today is a new day!”

I wanted to come by and leave some encouragement as far as PCOS is concerned. You know that I too have struggled with this horrible condition and have been fairly open about sharing the heartache that goes along with it. Good news, weight loss does heal this in time. I have lost nearly 10% of my body weight and my body is beginning to return to normal. *HUGS* and keep fighting. Don't let it get you down. You can do this! I believe in you! emoticon emoticon
