I quit smoking a year before I retired. Been retired a little over a year, and put on a few extra pounds. Got this little girl 5 months after I retired. Would like to be able to get on her when it is time to break her to ride, without breaking her back. Not to mention being able to get my foot up into the stirrup. I NEED HELP!!

    Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm doing okay, just very busy. Since I last blogged we have moved (from near Ottawa in eastern Ontario) to the southwest end of the province (approximately 2 hours east of Detroit). We've been here for 3 years now, and I'm still impressed by winters that start around Christmas and spring that begins near the first of March. We have green grass all year and flowers start blooming in mid March. emoticon And best of all, Red lives just 5 minutes away at my sister's farm.

    We moved due to my husbands degenerative neurological disorder - the flat terrain here makes it easier for him to get around. He isn't able to do much of the yard work so I've taken that over, too. So ... just busy.

    I hope all is well with you, and thanks so much, again, for touching base.
