The Glass Slipper Ministries is based on Jeremiah 29:11

The new year starts with a new start and a new challenge to get this weight off. I am officially, obese! I need to lose at least 20 lbs to be at a comfortable weight. I have been laying in bed for too long and it's time to get moving in 2015.
My plan is to do at least 10 minutes a day of deliberate exercise with at least 2,500 steps a day to start.
I plan on drinking 8 cups of water or more daily.
Get 8 hours of sleep.
Eat 4-5 fruits/ vegetables.
Stay within my calorie range.
I hope to add more exercise and steps each week.

The year is almost half over already, and I have not lost any weight, but I have increased my steps each day from 1,000 a day to 3,000 a day. I set the activity tracker at 1,000 when I first got it, and then went to 2,500, and now I have set it for 3,000, and have been doing it everyday:)
I am eating my fruits & veggies everyday and drinking my water, and getting 8 hours of sleep (usually more) a day, but I have not gotten back into exercising much since my vacation. It is taking me a lot longer to bounce back than I thought it would, but I will get there! I really want to lose at least 20 lbs this year, and I need to really get serious about eating within my calorie range and exercising more. I will update my page again in December and see I did:)

To strengthen my heart and lungs and increase my overall strength.

To get out of bed and start living life again!

It's been 2 years since I had chemo and radiation, and it's time to stop recovering and start thriving!


My Program:

2500 steps a day, and at least 10 minutes of deliberate exercise. I know that's not much, but it's a start!
Eat 4-5 fruits or veggies.
Drink 8 glasses of water.
Join a fitness class.



Personal Information:
I live in Carmichael, CA.
I have three children and two grandchildren.
I have two older sisters and two younger brothers.
I am currently working for my brother at Capital Containers as an Office Manager in West Sacramento, California.


Other Information:
My favorite authors are Lisa Jackson and James Patteson, and then Dean Koontz.
My newest favorite is Allison Brennan.
My favorite tv shows are Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Celebrity Apprentice, adn Reckless.
My ALL time favorite is Survivor and Big Brother second.
