Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my page!! Once again, I am here to keep track of my fitness/weight loss goals and to meet new friends that are on the journey with me!!! I have been a member of SP for a while but slacked off visiting/tracking, etc..but I am back to focusing on ME! Why It's All About Me! Me! Me!? It's all about ME because I am the only one responsible for ME! I am no longer a little kid living under my mom's roof depending on her to take care of my food and health. I am now a grown woman who should be enjoying her life and all it has to offer. I should not be sitting at home on the couch enjoying a nice, smooth, creamy pint of Cookies & Cream Ice Cream by Blue Bell(ummmmmm�Ice Cream!) while watching tv (that's what I have a DVR for!!!). There are a lot of things that I want to do and I want to be comfortable in my own skin when I am doing them. So HERE I AM!!! Why Now? Because I am not getting any younger and I don't want a body that is aging rapidly even though I look young in the face...HBP runs in my family..so does bad cholestoral..not exercising...bad eating habits...soda/sugar overkill...not getting enough rest...not slowing down and enjoying life...ripping and running...skipping meals...eating late...SNACKING on the WRONG FOODS (guilty!!) all throughout the day...on and on... I want to feel lighter, happier and more energetic..time for me to stop hiding behind my weight and insecurities!!!! What now?? Now that I am finally REALIZING and saying out loud (or typing out loud) my "demons", I can move past the first hurdle.. the mental blocks!!! I created this personal MISSION STATEMENT which will keep me on track (I pray): **The goal of this lifestyle change are to live longer, healthier, happier and with more energy than in the past. This will include removing any obstables to happiness by PRAYER, SELF- MOTIVATION, DETERMINATION and FOCUS. Setting realistic and obtainable goals will be markers of success. I will lean on family, friend and my SPARK FAMILY for support and chart my progress.*** With that in mind, I have viewed the pages of some other members for inspiration and motivation and have been AMAZED at the changes in their weight, fitness, health and most importantly, ATTITUDE!!! Also, I have lost some Spark Friends along the way but have gained some new ones (HELLO TO MY WONDERFUL, SUPPORTIVE, BEAUTIFUL FRIENDS) The journey is shorter for some than it is for others but it's still a journey!!!!!!

Fitness Minutes: 63,400

My Goals:
I would like to increase my energy level, lose about 45 lbs and develop better eating habits.


My Program:
I have started back at the gym and monitoring my eating habits. I've eliminated sodas and increased my water intake, which was a FEAT IN ITSELF!!!!!

I am doing various things to get my fitness in and keep it interesting...I'm doing Bikram Yoga, cardio, strength training and MIGHT look into swimming...that one is yet to be decided...lol

My Rewards:

5 lbs: new nail polish
10 lbs: new lunch bag
15 lbs: new 24K earrings
20 lbs: new purse
25 lbs: new wardrobe
30 lbs: Iphone 5(or 4 if it's on sale..lol)

I do not have a goal weight really, I just picked 150 cause it sounded ok..lol..I do want my BMI down to a healthy level so I will continue until it's right.



Personal Information:
Born in Chicago, raised in Dallas where I currently reside!! Been employed with AT&T for the last 14 yrs(yeah!!!!)..single, no children, 6 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 spoiled dogs!!!!!! Love to do volunteer work and hang with my good friends!!!


Other Information:
I love all types of music from country to rock (yes I own Tim McGraw and Metallica cds... :~) Also love different types of movies just depends on my mood....same thing goes for books!!!!

Remember to weigh in and post your weight on Saturdays and post your exercise/miles as soon as you can, especially on Monday & Tuesday, so we can land our plane early hopefully in one of the top 3 spots
