Those apples sound delish. I love the tortilla idea. I'll try this weekend. I made the plumber beef stew and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. A freshly baked pie would have been a bit hard that day as I was with no heat, water or electricity for most of the day. Thankyou for sharing. :)

Your thrown together baked sliced apple recipe would be helpful. It has been awhile since I have made a pie so I will probably buy a refridgerated crust. Whether I make it for him or use it later I love to try new recipes.

That's so funny! I had the same bike experience recently. Turns out, the flat tire was a great excuse for pedalling slowly! I've just started running again. I'm still doing more walking than running, but trying to focus on my progress, rather than the time I've "lost". I hope you are able to keep your spirits up, too. When all this started, I don't think I realized what a long term commitment/struggle this would be! But after all we've invested in this, it's too late to turn back now, isn't it? Even though I'm sad we're both back, I'm glad to see a familiar face (OK, avatar?) Wishing you a speedy journey back to good health! 3114 days ago
