Made great healthy changes in 2019. Going to carry those proudly into 2020 and continue with a healthy living lifestyle. This year is the Year for 2020 vision! Update: My September 2020 Goals! 1. Going to walk 3 days a week. 2. Try to be more creative and take more time to enjoy the little things. 3. Eat home cooked meals 7 days a week. Try to add in more vegetables. 4. Reduce anxiety - still work on relaxation techniques. 5. Organize!

My Goals:
To be healthier and feel better about myself.

Short-term goals:
1. To drink 8 glasses of water a day. Update - I do this almost everyday, about 95% of the time.
2. To make fitness part of my regular routine. Update - I need to focus on this more over the winter months, once snow hit I've slacked. 2014 Update - I still struggle with getting fitness a priority. Despite the struggle I will keep trying!
3. To be more conscious of what I eat each day. Update - even when I've been offline for a while I still was very much aware of what and how much I was eating. I have the awareness now! 2014 Update - I'm very aware of what I eat and when I just need to do better planning with home cooked meals and less eating on the go. 2017 Update - joined Planet Fitness so now there is NO EXCUSE!

Long-term goal:
To lose 100 pounds and be healthier and feel comfortable in my body. Update - I've was down 33 pounds by Sept-12 but I've gained a couple back over winter currently down 31 - gett

My Program:
I am working my program by drinking my water, tracking my nutrition, and tracking my fitness through Spark People. I rely on this program as it helps me feel more accountable for my successes and setbacks.

Personal Information:
My name is Sherri. I am 49 years old and married to a wonderful man who is much more active and healthier than I. I have two grown children and three grandbabies that are the spark in my life.

I've always had weight issues as far back as I can remember. I've tried many things over the years to lose weight and have had some success. But since I turned 40 my battle seems to have become much harder. I love keeping busy and doing things with my family, but have found something much harder to participate in with the extra weight.

I want to enjoy life and be happy in my body. This time it WILL work!

Other Information:
Live each day to the fullest, and take time to enjoy the simple things in life!

    emoticon Your sign is Cancer, the mother, so you love to feed others and yourself. Cancer rules the breast and therefore take care of them. If we are very stressed, we can have health issues from our opposite sign, and for you that is Capricorn, so take care of your knees and learn to relax as stress headaches can be an issue for you. Cancer has tenacity so you can achieve any goal, because "the mother" doesn't make excuses as she follows through.
