Hi! Thanks so much for the sweet comments on my blog! I am glad I helped a little! Yes, for years I never lost anything because I would either exercise really good OR eat good. I could never do them both at the same time. So once I figured it out and started tracking everything I just lose,lose, lose..you will get it girl! Yes, I've been taking off some weight ... 5lbs in the last 2 weeks after being stuck at 220 for over a month. I feel great about those little 5 pounds. But, what I figured out is that ALL that running wasn't really helping (me)!. When I was training for the race I found myself HUNGRY all the time. I was burning over 1000 calories on a training day and it left me starving. Now, I've decided on 5K's for the rest of the year (not sure on the next one but I'll pick one soon) and doing enough exercise that I can handle a slight deficient in calories. I've noticed that about 30 to 45 minutes of exercise is enough so it doesn't leave me wanting to eat everything in the kitchen and about 1200 calories is the trick for me ... at least for now! Just thought I'd share.
