~* I know how it feels to want to hide myself from others. After I had my twins, I would walk behind the stroller, even though my husband was there... I didn't want people to see my stomach. I felt everyone was judging me. It was most likely my imagination... but I was scared of what people thought.

I hadn't stepped on a scale since I before I was married, but I knew I was getting to be severely overweight. So I went to my doctor's one day in August 2007 and asked her to help me. She started by weighing me. I was shocked... 248 lbs! The most I ever weighed in highschool was 185lbs... I was sad, angry and discouraged, but knew I had to do something about it.

She told me to start going to a gym and get involved in an intense class and do lots of cardio. I lost 10 lbs in September/October 2007, but then gained 3 lbs back over Christmas. Well, as it turned out I was allowed 3 free sessions with a trainer. So I met with a trainer and really liked working with her. After I about 5 months I knew I needed to start training full time.

So since January 2008 I have been going to the gym atleast 3 days a week. Also I keep a food diary to bring to my doctor's office every week when I get weighed.

There was a bit of a plateau in February, but now I got over it. I have lost 30 lbs and still losing... I love it! *~

My Goals:
My overall goal is to get down to 145lbs by the beginning of next year.

My Program:
I go to the gym 3 times a week, keep a food diary and visit my doctors office once a week for updates on my weight and to discuss my food diary.

Personal Information:
I am from Canada and have been married for 2 years. We have been blessed with beautiful twin boys.

Other Information:
My Doctor is actually the one who referred me to this page. I am really thankful she did.

    It's cool!
    I just have to try and get used to checking in and actually recording food. I hate being obsessed or thinking about food at all, so thinking about it in servings to figure out my calorie in and outtake is a little exhausting.....

    In time I will get it set up all proper.

    You can make it. I used to be 265lbs Now I am 132. My goal weight is 123. Keep comming back! It works if you work it!
