Hi!! I'm Cindy. I have always struggled with my weight but was able to lose 72 pounds a few years ago by tracking here on Sparkpeople. I've gone through some major life changes that threw me waaay off track and now I've gained it all back...and am feeling it!! It's time to do it again!

My Goals:
Lose a substantial amount of weight and live a much longer, healthier, more fulfilling life than I will if I remain in the condition I am in right now!!!

Wear clothes I have never been able to wear, and have my husband be proud that I am his wife (and my kids be proud that I am their mother as well).

My Program:
**Revised 9-30-09** OK, enough beginning! I am eating within my calorie range and working out at least 5 times a week (at least that's the plan).

Original Post - 2006 -
Just beginning again!!! I am trying to learn many things. One of them being the patience that I need to lose a LOT of weight. That has been really hard for me and made it really easy for me to give up each time. So small changes for now. Drinking enough water, cutting out the soda, tracking what I eat and drink, and reading success stories of others - trying to stay motivated.

Personal Information:
I am 5' 6.5" tall
I have 2 inside dogs, lots of cats - both inside and out, 4 goats, 1 horse, 3 bunnies and a few chickens.
I homeschool my 3 kids and we love it - most times :-)

Other Information:
I love to cook/bake, sing, garden, can, knit, read, ride horses, work outside on our farm and care for our animals...and the obvious-eat-although now I don't eat sugared-to-death foods and a minimal amount of processed foods and I snack on freggies and oh, what a difference it makes!!!

    I congratulate you on being a homeschool teacher. Not many of us can.
    Keep up the good job in losing what you have lost. The drinking water does help and you do feel like your sloshing all the time but it does get rid of all the toxins that hold the fats and calories to us. The other day I drank 15 glasses of water. It just seemed I couldn't drink enough, but did I run, run, and run. I lost a couple of pounds. i was pretty happy.

    Welcome to our group! You are off to a wonderful fun filled journey! We'll let you know all our secrets....our tried and true ones and you will have a fun time with us getting smaller and smaller. But it does take time.Drink drink drink water water water all the time. I didn't believe it but it is true. The more water you drink the more you lose and it actually flushes our the toxins that are in our body. I have trouble becuase I'm a late night snacker....I'll snack on anything.lol Keeping full of water helps.hehehehe. I slosh alot now but I am losing weight and if I can do it so can you. Probably much faster than me cause you are younger and I like to stop and smell the roses along the way. (snack) UUUPPPS! But I'm getting better. Welcome again and I'll talk to you later.
