    LuAnn: I have looked at DASH and then had a friend tell me about Bob Harper's Skinny Rules. The two of us meet weekly and are implementing many of the "rules" which are, for the most part, common sense. But it's made me more mindful along with portion control.
    When I think of all the diet books and plans I have been on and have on my office shelf, they all boil down to good healthy eating which is sustainable for the long term. I think DASH and things like Skinny Rules put it in a perspective that's easy to follow without having to give up food groups.
    All that said and done, I have lost 10 pounds so far.
    Am pleased.

    The flowers and blossoms are filling the air with the smells of Spring. This is the time to start preparing for the Summer. Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of June. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
