Introduction Text I have been on Sparks People for a long time but I have never used it to it's full capacity until January 24, 2011. To completely understand you need to understand where I live. I am currently blessed with living in Canada's only rain forest the most northern tip of Vancouver Island. We have a grocery store some maand pop shops and resturants but the big "box" stores are all 2.5-4 hours away. So in January we packed up our family of 5 and went on a road trip I needed to see a surgion for my ambilical hernia and my middle child need to have a dental procedure done at the pediatric dentist. My appointment was first and this set the tone for the rest of our trip. I needed to lose 50% of my weight to have the operation Yikes!! that meant 153 pounds. The last thing I heard as I walked out the clinic was try weight watchers and we will see you in 4 months. I was so thankful for laptops and wireless internet so I was able to google "weight watchers" to discover that because of where I live it only works on line. So I decided I would use sparks people to its full potentional and see what happens. Guess what it totally is working for me. I am however using the calorie guide from the Mayo Clinic which was approved by my doctor. So my journey began on January 24th and I am learning more each day and becoming completely addicted to walking and seeing what distance I can go in what amount of time and box fit love it however I am on the hunt for more to try. I intend to blog lots so I hope everyone enjoys my little rants :)
