UPDATE January 20, 2021: Today is a big change for the United States. My prayer is for God's Will in our lives.

UPDATE March 29, 2020: I discovered Plant Based Whole Foods (PBWF) last December (2019). My brother-in-law had to have a stent and his doctor recommended this way of eating to lose weight, lower his cholesterol, and lower his blood pressure. I had been struggling with pre-diabetes for about a year, and I also struggle with high cholesterol and blood pressure. SO...I decided to give it a try after doing my research. I can’t tell you how much better I’m feeling, plus I’ve lost 24 pounds! It’s a different way of cooking because I’ve also removed oil from my diet - so, sauté is a whole new experience, lol!

UPDATE January 2019: I’m reading a new book by Mike Bayer, entitled: Best Self, You Only Better. It’s helping me put my ducks back in a row to find the determination needed to get back on the “healthy road”.

My husband and I are retired! I know I will need to be careful about snacking since that's my downfall.

Summer 2012
This is my journey to overcome a chronic tired feeling and constant joint pain. I had total knee replacement in 2012 of both knees. My recovery went great and I have awesome range of motion, plus no more pain!

My Goals:
Focus on a healthy lifestyle during retirement.

Change my lifestyle to one with a health and exercise focus.

My Program:
Exercise 5 days a week - 3 cardio and 2 strength training. Weigh once a week. Drink 8 glasses of water everyday. Stay within calorie range.

Removing "processed foods" from my diet. Eat fresh fruits and veggies everyday.

    I have had one of these massages before but it was not hard enough to do me any good. They even put little hot rocks on me. I guess I needed someone walking on me and using hot boulders. Maybe as I get into better shape massages will mean more to me. Enjoy the "idea" of this spark goodie. Love ya emoticon

    I'm so glad I could make you laugh...sometimes keeping it light, like saying I kicked my own butt helps me not to take this so serious all the time, and have some fun with it! emoticon
