A little over a year ago I had to have all my teeth pulled and get both upper and lower dentures. Recovering from the dental surgery I let my exercise routine lapse. Since then I cannot eat raw broccoli, cauliflower my favorite vegetables. I also cannot eat lettuce because my dentures cannot cut the leaves and they stick to the dentures.
Using these as lame excuses, I have not restarted my workouts, and I am eating all the wrong things.
I am making some New Year's resolutions that I will start today instead of waiting for Jan. 1.
No computer in the morning until after my workout.
No more junk food. Restart using my nutrition page faithfully.
Use my lunch hour at work to walk instead of sitting and reading.

My Goals:
My goal is to get down to 120 pounds. I want to learn to live a more healthy and active lifestyle.

My Program:
I am following the "Flat Belly Diet" which includes three meals and one snack everyday, each meal less than 400 calories, snack 200 calories. Every meal must include a MUFA which is monounsaturated fats. My favorite MUFA's are dark chocolate and almonds. I had to give up the gym membership due to money concerns, so now am working out at home to DVDs and walking at lunch during the week.

Personal Information:
I live in south central Idaho, moved back here after being gone 14 years. I love my small hometown.

Other Information:
I read everyday, I go kind of crazy if I can't read. I like science fiction, supernatural romances. My current favorite author is Anne Bishop.
