So, I started this trip a little over a year ago, and I went strong for the first 7 months, then I slacked off, got back on track for a few months until I had lost a total of 90 pounds. Then I got derailed by life... loss of a job, my only son growing up and joining the army, going back to school, and being broke all the time. I thought I was "good enough" and have to just deal with where I was and not push for that last 50 pounds to reach my goal weight.
I'm going to call BULL CRAP on myself. I'm going to lose that last 50 pounds, but it may not be as quickly as I had originally set out to do. I'll do it my maintaining a steady pace, not pushing myself so hard that I want to give up.
I'm hanging in there. I will not give up this fight!

My Goals:
Eat healthier, exercise more, and as an end result, lose weight.

Lose 30 lbs. for my 20 year High School Reunion in August 2010. Reward- New Clothes! -GOAL MET 7/20/10

Lose 50 lbs. Reward- Mani-Pedicure GOAL MET 9/13/10

Lose 75 lbs. Reward-Full body massage- Goal Met November 2010.

Lose 100 lbs. Reward-Weekend alone with my hubby

Break the 200 lb. mark. DO THE ONE-DERLAND HAPPY DANCE!

Get into a size 10! Reward- New wardrobe!

Complete a sprint triathalon. -Done- May 8, 2011, June 11, 2011 and September 25, 2011. MORE TO COME!!

Complete an olympic length triathalon.

My Program:
I am training for triathlons. I alternate riding, swimming, and running twice each per week and throw in Yoga or strength training whenever possible.
Removed from my eating are:
Fried Foods
Refined Sugars

    I'm glad you made the decision to buy the bikes instead of continuing in pursuit of a POS car. I'm incredibly proud of you. It puzzles me how people will tell you they think you're crazy for biking to work -- I know how good it makes you feel to do it and frankly, they're the ones that are nuts.
