I have had many health problems, including 2 kidney tranplants, thyroid cancer, steroid-induced diabetes, steroid myopathy, vasculitis, etc. Not trying to complain, but it makes working out and successful dieting more challenging, but also that much more critical, for me. With the 10 lbs I lost before Spark, and the additional weight I've lost since then, I am no longer on blood pressure meds, and am no longer considered a diabetic. WooHoo!! Also, I feel better on a day-to-day basis, with much less stiffness, more energy and I look better, to boot! Yes, I have a long way to go (25 lbs, about) but I am seeing results and am motivated to see more. I have hips now, but I want to get back down to my "fighting weight" and get rid of the saddle bags around my haunches. I can't wait to look good in a bikini again, and not have to haul around this extra weight. Of course, most important to me is the improved health benefits, but I will definitely take the other positive side effects!

I totally agree cats are better at their home than at a kennel. Most kennels will cage the cat during their entire stay. I have strong feelings about cats in cages. As long as there's someone to check on the kitties and make sure they are safe and have food and water and a clean litter, they are better off at home.
