is on day 24 of no sweets...if I'm honest, I MISS running even though I am glad I have a spin bike. Running is just So Amazing! ....given doc's clearance, I might try my running shoes on. =)

Welcome to my Spark Page!

"We SPARK to know we're not Alone." I am here because I STAY motivated when I surround myself with other like minded friends on the same journey as I. It really helps my progress to be held accountable by supportive mentors.

Successfully losing 70 pounds several years back was the beginning of my journey and maintaining my loss was successful too. Then I developed plantar fasciitis... a long story to be sure, but not without a happy ending. After following podiatrist's orders and wearing custom made orthotic inserts daily, my feet are HAPPY, and I am thankful to be pain free.

However, I slowly gained weight during the past 3 years - applying the brakes to my fit & active lifestyle produced a more sedentary lifestyle as well as my allowing bad eating habits to creep back into my life.

Notwithstanding, I am a Rebounder, and I'm back to tracking all meals and my daily fitness. 2019 is MY year for reclaiming once conquered ground and maintaining for a lifetime!

SLOW progress IS progress and celebrating each small step is what I do now. A little progress each day adds up to BIG results.
I eat less, and move more, and what a ..:::GIFT:::.. it is just to "move"!
