Because I can...
I remember saying to my husband a few years ago that we had better decide to develope a healthier lifestyle now because it would only get harder with age. I allowed myself to take 5 years to loose my pregnancy weight and that was way too long. I want to be able to play with my daughter, or do my old sport like activities again without worry of injury or slow healing.

My Goals:
Focused on a healthier lifestyle: Eating less, eating at home, playing more with my daughter, small activity daily, beter financial planning, learning to set goals, and building self confidence. Seems pretty easy so far.
My Program:
I'm tracking my calories and taking my measurements every two weeks to see progress. I go to the local Y to do cardio or swimming 3-5 days a week. I check my goals daily with my favorite saying, "What would you do today if you could not fail?" I just do it now!
Personal Information:
I'm currently training as a crystal engineer at Bliley Technologies Inc. in Erie, PA. I haven't used my ceramic engineering degree in 10 years and it is great to be thinking again. The challenges are great.
Other Information:
I am a memeber of the Erie chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and hope to be fit enough to try fighting in armor or ride horses again.
