Introduction Text Hi, I'm Melissa. I have been struggling with my weight for a couple of years now. I've gone through some things that have hindered my results. I'm trying to get past everything and make the changes to be healthier and happier. I am excited to start a new healthy and happier life!!!

My ultimate goal is to lose my excess weight and have more ENERGY.

I don't have a specific plan I'm following... For now I'm trying to cut down on Coke and other soft drinks and sugar. And to cut out fast foods. Also to exercise more often.

I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. All through my life I was thin, and could eat anything I wanted. In all of high school my weight never went over 115 lbs. Then hurricane Katrina hit and between living in hotels, my diet mainly consisting of fast food, and being put on steroids do to my asthma becoming worse, I started gaining weight. I am struggling to break my horrible habits I've had all my life and new ones I have picked up along the way. I want to lose the extra weight and feel good again!!
