On August 29, 2013, I decided enough was enough with my weight and I started using Belly Dance for "my exercise program" and when I first started, my weight was at 285 lbs. I just fell in love with the dance. I made a goal to get certified as a Belly Dance Instructor on my 3rd year anniversary and I did it!!

I am now down to 172lbs. and VERY proud of myself!

NEVER give up on your dreams, they sometimes DO come true!

My Goals:
To promote healthy living and exercise through Belly Dance. I hope to motivate others to not give up on their goals.


My Program:
Here is what I deal with on a daily basis and the changes since I started exercising. I hope I can motive others in some way. If you suffer with any of these conditions and want to talk to someone, please feel free to contact me.

1. Bipolar w/severe depression
2. P.T.S.D. since EARLY childhood (diagnosed at 12 years old)
3. Social Anxiety Disorder
4. Anorexia
5. Extreme low self-esteem and confidence
6. The Big one fibromyalgia

I have now been able to be OFF all medications now for 5 years. I am starting to socialize more with others, I know that the HUGE FAT PERSON in the mirror is just an illusion in my own mind, and I have started noticing a little more pride and confidence in myself and knowing I can do whatever I want to do.

I have accomplished this through:

1. Belly Dance
2. Meditation
3. Talking to people more even through social media sites (Facebook)
4. Stop being hard on myself and telling myself, tomorrow WILL be better.
