I am not from Texas but I got here as soon as I could!! I am a 40-something Grandma, my daughter and grandaughter are my pride, joy and inspiration.

I just moved to Texas 4 years ago. I love to ride my Morgan gelding, whom I have had from birth. My husband and I camp and trail ride when time allows. I also love to garden, bike ride and even took up running this past year. I hit the gym 3-5 days a week.

I am not terribly overweight, but the pounds crept up on me. I am more out of shape than anything. So just trying to trim down and build some strength, Lord knows I am not getting any younger and I need to be able to keep up with my grandaughter and I plan to ride horses into my 90's!!

    Yes, It WAS a beautiful day! Was it as warm there as it was here? I just did some mowing on the West side of our barn and also mowed the barnyard...........All by hand, of course!

    Thanks for your comments and encouragement on my feed! I appreciate you! I participated in a Clinic with my horse this past weekend, it was really fun and got a lot of fitness minutes! DH took lots of pictures so I was able to post a blog to let my friends see what I am doing!

    Thanks for the spark goodie......they are saying that we are supposed to get about 3 inches of rain this week! As I was driving around Friday to my visits, I noticed all the ponds and creeks are full. Made a great recovery from the drought!
