"Be the kind of person you want to meet."

Starting over on SparkPeople for the umpteenth time. I am tired of starting over. I am enlisting some tried and trusted tools on here by joining a weekly weigh-in and seeking some help outside of myself. I am tired of my life being on hold for "when I lose weight." I'm tired of hearing myself say it, and I can't imagine how tired my poor husband is of hearing it. More importantly, I want to get healthy! I want to be able to walk a mile! Hunt for mushrooms with my husband's family. NOT sit somewhere and wait for people who are out exploring and doing the things I want to do but physically can't without humiliating myself. Sorry, this just got real. LOL But really, I'm done. I'm going to start slow and build up habits that will make real change, and I'm going to put in the WORK.

My Goals:
I'm breaking things down into mini goals, adding future goals as I complete goals so I don't overwhelm myself with all that future speak.

Next goal: Hit 100 lbs. lost: 333. lbs. That goal is a long time in the making—I started getting serious about losing weight in 2018. So it's over two years of success and failure that went into that goal. When I hit it I will be darned proud, and ready to move forward to the next goal, which is to get under 300 pounds for the first time in over a decade.

My Program:
Eat between 1200-1600 calories, getting in as many whole grains, veggies, healthy fats, and lean protein as possible.

I'm a serious book nerd. Also a writer, editor, music enthusiast, amateur science nerd, and small-time adventurer
