It is FEASIBLE to look at weight loss in a simpler manner; behaving "as if" you are already at your goal and acting accordingly.
It is NOT FEASIBLE to expect drastic loss.
I did it the jackrabbit way... lost 80, gained 70 back... time to take the turtle route.

It is NOT FEASIBLE to hold your mind hostage with constant rules, worries, and standards. Be kind to yourself. Break the cycle of guilt.
Long term goal: to weigh 170 within 3 years.
This gives me a goal of 37 pounds yearly to lose.
We all know November-December is a difficult time to lose, so this will be my maintenance period.
So, aiming for 40 lbs a year, but during the first 10 months.
4 pounds a month.
1 pound a week.
10 pounds a seasonal challenge. Making my 5% will be a bonus. :)
