I ate healthy, no sugar, lots of water, but rather than looking at the maximum I could eat, I concentrated on low impact exercise, walking with my wife in shopping trips. After going through two weeks of plateau, I ate 1,000 calories more than my typical 1,500 calories a day. By adding exercise and moderate food, I lost 6 lbs. in one day. No eggs, meat, fish, or dairy. Drastic steps for drastic challenges. My dinner was composed of tomatoes, potato salad, Greek pepper rings, cucumbers, carrots, squash, stewed tomatoes, okra, onions, red onion, lemons, peas, collards, baked sweet potatoes, jalapenos, long-grain rice, pineapple, pears, tangerines, and beets.
