First pregnancy workout in months at the new gym. 18 weeks and missed it so much. 68 minutes on the elliptical. It's definitely something to get used to, a co-ed gym after almost 2 years in a women's only facility, and having to come up with my own workouts, but, it feels amazing today!
It feels so good to be back in the gym.

day 5 of my streak for "Track food or water" earned 2/20/2020
Happy Friday, Friends! Got some stressful news this morning, but I'm going to try my hardest not to let it get me down. I'm going to enjoy my weekend with my kiddos! The weather is supposed to be beautiful here, and I'm going to soak it all in. ๐
Sunday "brunch" (not really brunch, just a late breakfast for us): smoked salmon on a cheese bagel, with chive & onion cream cheese, banana, kiwi and strawberries. Coffee on the side with the new Starbucks caramel creamer. Mom & baby approved! And, of course, my 40oz water bottle by my side.
It's the start of a brand new week, ladies & gents! What is one thing you are going to do this week to ring you one step closer to your #goals?

In just a few hours we are headed out of town for the appointment I feel I've been waiting years for (it's only been a few weeks...). We will finally know the health status and gender of baby #6! The house is split down the middle. Half think girl, the others think boy.
#FitMomma #FitFam #PregnancyFitness
Monday workout done! I needed it. If you haven't gotten yours in today, there's still time!
And, Baby #6 is a...
#Yoga, oh, how I missed you. I must make time more often. ๐คฐ๐ป๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
Good morning, SparkFriends! Happy Friday! I need your help, please.
This week has been crazy with travel but we're finally done with out of town appts for another month, and I need to get back to cooking real food for the family. I'd love recipe/meal suggestions. We are mostly pescatarian. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks... and go!
It has been a very long week and I'm thankful for the weekend, finally. I've been exhausted and didn't really want to work out today, but I did.
#NoRegrets
Happy Saturday, SparkFreinds! New blog up!
Today is your day. Look over what brought you closer to your goals this week and what you can do different in the coming week. Make a plan. Focus on your health. Get it!!
It feels good to be back on track! It feels good to finally have a day of home cooked meals again. I need to work on getting more protein, but I'm still at a good number. Working back up to 120 oz of water a day.
Despite the chaos, I managed to lose a pound of excess fat this week, while baby is estimated to weight 10 oz already.

I was getting my snacks prepped for the week, then I ran out of veggies. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
For @TMP0418 as promised! Dinner tonight was a Mediterranean salmon salad.
- 1.5c Spring mix salad, 5 slices cucumber, 5 cherry tomatoes, 5 black olives, .5 oz feta cheese, 4 oz salmon, .5 container hummus, .5 tbsp olive oil and balsamic vinegar. 420 calories.
I'm going to try this whole, What I Ate Today, thing.
Breakfast this morning - Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. 300 calories, but filled me up quick!
I don't usually eat a morning snack, but with my extra calorie needs I'm trying to get better at eating more often. 230 calories of 2% cottage cheese topped with fresh rasberries. I've got tofu marinating and brown rice cooking for lunch!
Lunch! Coconut crusted tofu with sauteed zucchini over brown rice and a chili lime sauce.
I've also been busy prepping for dinner tonight and lunch and dinnner for the next two days.
Afternoon snack. I meal prepped these for the week. And, Guys! Walnuts! They have never tasted as amazing as they do right now. I love that this baby is giving me healthy cravings so far.
65 minutes on the treadmill plus a short stretch. Now to pick up the boys and head home to make dinner. ๐คค
Last post today, Friends. Its been fun!
Dinner tonight is Baked Southwest Egg Rolls with Guac to dip.
Today, I ate a total of 1841 calories, burned 486 calories, and drank 144 oz of water. Now, I am ready for bed!
Making our meal plan for the week. I'm going to see if we can go completely plant-based for every meal and snack for an entire week.
PS - if you need a quick picture, unsplash.com is amazing!!
Dinner today was a California Sushi Roll Bowl with Cauliflower Rice. It was too pretty and yummy to keep to myself.
Another amazing day a total of 1666 calories in, 495 calories out with treadmill and weights in the gym tonight and 15 glasses (120 oz) of water.
I cannot wait for dinner tonight! This is a full, plant-based meal on its own, but we will be topping it with some pan-seared tilapia fillets.
Happy International Women's Day!
More meal prep done today. Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding (pictured), Sunbutter Baked Oatmeal cups in the oven and a few different flavors of overnight oats. And I've portuined out, packed up and froze some leftovers for easy lunch/dinner options when time doesn't allow or I'm just too tired to cook.
I hope you all have a fantasic, productive, amazing and health filled week!
Carrot Cake Overnight Oatmeal.
Just as amazing as I'd hoped it would be. ๐
Salads are my absolute favorite and the number one thing this baby has me craving. I haven't had one in a little while. This has spring mix, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion, a boiled egg, feta cheese, a buffalo (vegetarian) chicken patty, and topped with homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. #HealthyLunch #FitPregnancy #FitMomma
Pizza night. And I don't feel a bit guilty about this plate, or the S'mores Bar I'm going to eat for dessert. I went over my calories today, but not excessively. In the past, it would have killed me. I'm focusing on eating food and not putting a labelon any of it, good or bad. "Everything in moderation."
Where are my runners/walkers at!?
I can't run, but I got the email today for To Write Love On Her Arms's annual Run For It 5K, and I'm thinking of getting the whole family involved in it this year. I'd love for you to join us!
If you're in Satellite Beach, FL, they have a local run, if not, let's get a virtual run going!! You can do it wherever you are.

There is rain in the forcast today, the clouds are rolling in and I don't think we're getting the hike we'd planned today.
This week, I've logged 3.04 miles on the treadmill and 8.22 miles on the elliptical for a total of 11.26 miles this week.
We got our hike in this morning, in the wind and a little bit of snow. I'm guestimating we went about 1.78 miles. My phone died about halfway up, so I doubled the recorded milage. Sometimes, I can go up and not use any battery, others, it dies after a full charge. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Officially 13.04 miles this week!
Well, it looks I'll be adding Homeschool Momma to my resume. Maybe this will help convince the husband. At least 3 weeks home that these kids will not be making up in their summer.
Refusing to let this BS get us down! Our day started with breakfast and some lessons (baking us the perfect way to practice adding fractions!), then a nice walk getting some Vitamin Sun (family joke!). This trail was about 1.8 miles. Snow and rain are in the forcast the next few days, so we'll be doing yoga and workouts at home. Oh, and I picked up my Run For It 5K package today!
Guys! It has been SO BUSY here the last week or so. Working out (or trying to) almost every day. Eating healthy (or trying to). Baby is finally giving me cravings. Haven't had a lot to say these days. Baby is fantastic, and still stubborn. Kids are officially withdrawn from the district. And everyone's keeping healthy. Just going with the flow and moving forward, as always.
Some weekend #motivation for you!
Jumping on the #MoveIt train this month and committing to daily yoga practice every single day in April.
Today's sessions was brought to me by the FitOn app.
Day 2. ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ

#DailyCalm Day 4
Guys! Pregnancy brain has hit me like a ton of bricks this week. First, I forgot the password to get into the credit card account. Then, I forgot what I was supposed to make for dinner tonight! And I tracked it yesterday... But, we got a walk (bike ride for the littles) in this morning before the storm rolled in. I think I've found my 5K loop.
My #DailyCalm reward for practice this morning. 5-day streak!
Also, guys! I earned a 50-day streak this morning. I can't say, in the almost 10 years I've had this account, if I've ever had a 50-day streak before.
Here's to 50 more!

Turkey sandwich on a cheese bagel. Carrots & hummus on the side. 497 calories. My goal is about 500 per meal. 1800-2000 calories per day. ๐ช๐ป

It was COLD this morning! But I still did my yoga outside. ๐ฌ I skipped Shavasana at the end, though. I couldn't lay in the cold that long.
But, I watched the sun come up, then opened my window to let the sun in for meditation.
Tomorrow, I start a new chapter in my yoga practice. And I think I may try a long walk this afternoon. A couple days rest has really done my body some good.
@_autumn_moon_ posted a blog today about 100-day challenges. It got me thinking. I've always heard of these challenges but I've never taken one seriously. Today, I do. I encourage you to, too!
Today's session was on UNCERTAINTY. I found it and today's quote very fitting for the world and thought you'd enjoy it.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and beautiful Easter! ๐ฃ
Feeling incredibly stressed out and overwhelmed by news and information I'm getting today. Many, many hard decisions need to be made. But, I'm trying to stay focused on what I can control RIGHT NOW. Maybe I'll write it all down later.
For now, I'm eating a healthy lunch and baking bread (without a machine). That, is going to take some trial and error...

But, in other news, guys...
27 weeks today! Final week of the 2nd trimester. Three months to the day until my due date. But because my babies tend to come about a week earlier, I have about 12 weeks to go!
I cannot wait to meet this little monster. She's already so opinionated. She might be my craziest child yet!
#EarthDay2020 ๐
Look at that!
Eating and exercise is getting harder these days, you guys. Our walk today was only 2.59 miles, took almost an hour and I am in PAIN. Also, I couldn't finish either lunch or dinner today, with Baby pressing my stomach into my lungs.
Today, we extracted the DNA from a strawberry and ate homemade Blizzards.
The DNA thing was so fun and super easy. I read the instructions and the kids (8, 10 and 12) did it themselves. It was the favorite part of the day.

An early dinner for once! Vegetarian Sloppy Joes on top of a homemade bun with Creamy Broccoli Apple salad on the side. ๐คค
32 weeks with S and 32 weeks with H.
S was 7 lbs 8 oz at birth, my 2nd biggest baby. (The biggest was 7 lbs 10.5 oz.)
I think H may be in competition.

Day 71 of daily meditation. ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
We had maternity photos done a few days ago and I am in love with all of them. I wish I'd done them with the other 5. Only a little more than 3 weeks left until we finally meet Baby H. It is both too soon and not soon enough. Emotions are high.
Final update on Baby H!
As of this morning, she is still breech. C-section is scheduled for the morning of July 13th. Unless she tries to come sooner. ๐งก
Meditation day 94 of 100. ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
I did it! 100 Days of Meditation down!

Hendrix Joplin Grace
7:52 am
7 lbs 6 oz, 20.5 in
Sore and exhausted from the c-section, and struggling to get up and move around. But she is amazing and so easy right now.
A lot of firsts this week. Someday, I'll be able to sit down and write out Hendrix's birth story, but for now, I'm happy to say we are finally getting discharged today!
I had complications with surgery and recovery will be a little more than expected. For now, I'm going to rest, relax and let my body heal from the trauma, though I'm so ready to get back to working out. I miss yoga so much!
Hendrix is so ready to meet her siblings and they are ready to finally meet her!
#RainbowTribe
While I sit here, unable to work out still and frustrated with the way my body is healing so slowly, I've been doing some looking inward and dreaming.
I will be walking a couple times a week with a friend starting next week, and hopefully starting yoga in September. And then, I will start working towards certification as a yoga instructor.
Anyone have advice on where to start? What organizations are legit?
6 weeks today, and I've been cleared to start working out again! If the baby lets me, that is. ๐ ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
I don't believe in stating over. Today, I continue my journey to health.
These pictures make me sad. I'm so much farther from where I was a year ago. But, I know now how to get back to it. And I'm determined to get back to it and beyond.
Don't mind the unkempt look I'm rocking today. Both H and I are fighting something and exhausted today.
1st day back to the gym in about 6 months and 1st run in almost a year. I feel amazing!
Don't forget to get your Monday workout in!
Baby's first hike today.
C25K Week One. Done!
Working on a handful of strength circuits to start next week.
Took the Littles to the farm today fkr the Fall Festival. Walked around a few hours, corn maze and pumpkin patch. And came across this guy on our adventures.
Running Sparkers!
Tips for running outside in the cold.
I'm going to cancel my gym membership after this month. It's just been too tough to get there, and with all the restrictions... But I'm going to keep up running. As long as there's no ice or snow on the roads.
Our typical weather in winter is between the high teens and low 40s at any given time.
I'm going to buy a set of thermals and maybe another long sleeved top and a better pair of gloves.
Anything else I need?
Find something you love to do and you'll never work out a day in your life. Hubby put my pole up last night and I'm excited to get on it. Definitely harder than it looks.
#DailyCalm
Yesterday was my birthday. Here's to 34 and fabulous!
