See this image largerBeautiful place to get my steps in today.See this image largerSee this image largerLast night I went out and split a bottle of wine and a cheeseboard with my husband. I knew it was coming, so I ate and exercised accordingly all day. It felt so good to indulge and still have a healthy overall day. That guilt I would feel with every bite wasn’t there. I wasn’t wondering if it would set me back. We have a 3 month old, so it had been months since we had an adult date, and it was so great to not have it tainted.See this image largerRainbow carrots, watermelon radish, beets, and balsamic glaze. All grown in my neighborhood!See this image largerWell I knew this summer would be bottom car because I just had a baby, but hopefully next summer will be top car.See this image largerEveryone be good to yourselves today!See this image largerWorth gaining weight to have this guy.See this image largerUnder those eggs was arugula, tomatoes, and caramelized onions. I left the bread behind to keep breakfast under 500 calories. Skip the potatoes and get more veggies on the side!See this image largerDelicious Korean pancake full of veggies topped with plum sauce, siracha, and fresh herbs grown in my garden. Not as good as at the Vietnamese restaurant, but I came close.See this image largerRich, but perfect portion. And I only ate a small amount of the very delicious dessert.See this image largerWhere I walk when it’s not 100+ degrees-See this image largerRose 🍷, fruit, plus Zevia makes a pretty darn good lite sangria.See this image largerSo good! Sweet potato swapped out for the white potatoes.See this image largerNot the most photogenic food, but if you haven’t made banana nice cream yet, do it. Just blend frozen bananas in the food processor and they will eventually turn into something that tastes a lot like banana ice cream. I add a sprinkle of coco, vanilla extract and a small amount of peanut butter, but honestly just banana is great too.See this image largerI spent so long trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with this baby carrier. He should be up a bit higher. I kept looking for twists and checking the positioning on my back. Then it finally dawned on me- I shrank. This carrier is sized for the person wearing it. I need a medium now. It’s a K’tan by the way, and I highly recommend it!See this image largerMy family has always eaten fairly well, but I make little adjustments for my own serving here and there. 2/3 normal lasagne, 1/3 zucchini swapped for noddles. I really didn’t miss the pasta. Zucchini was great with the delicious homemade sauce and ricotta.See this image largerIf this isn’t a huge motivator for parents to get healthy, I don’t know what would be. My kids are healthy and active, and I want it to stay that way.See this image largerTalk about barely in onederland, but still so happy to finally see that. I feel like I have seen 200-205 every day for so long. I know I am still moving in the right direction.See this image largerBeautiful place to stay, with the bonus of burning plenty of calories going up and down the hill to our cabin.See this image largerThese are delicious! Only 15 calories! 1 net carb for those of you on Keto. I found them at Winco.See this image largerNew motivation- look good, or at least better in this before mid October. When you’re a family of 5 with a dark haired teenage girl, a little blonde boy and a baby with hair that sticks straight up, you pretty much have to be The Incredibles for Halloween, right? Working on getting Elastigirl’s waist.See this image largerI submitted this idea for a burger to a restaurant I love, and today they are making it! I’m eating super light so that I can enjoy it tonight. I’ll definitely need to fit in a good workout before going out, because I cannot get myself to workout after dinner. It has to happen early. I love that we can plan our days and be able to indulge without throwing off all of our progress.See this image largerAccurate. Hop right back on though!See this image largerIt’s a great feeling when you realize plain yogurt with berries and almonds feels like an indulgent dessert.See this image largerMy son saw this picture on here and said, “That’s Mama doing her exercises!” Apparently I look like a fitness model now😁🤣See this image largerI cannot stress how much better food is with fresh herbs. If you’re feeling bored with your healthy choices, sprinkle some flavor on there!See this image largerKids needs to eat the rainbow too!See this image largerSpeaking of kids eating the rainbow, he stole my pho!See this image largerThese jeans didn’t fit a month ago, and this shirt has never fit me.See this image largerI swear I have tried them all, and these are the absolute best humuses!See this image largerI made a delicious 18 calorie treat. It tastes like dessert!See this image largerSee this image largerWhat I wanted- giant cookie with a latte. What I got- unsweetened green tea and egg white bitesSee this image largerWhen your hummus matches your water bottle 😂See this image largerWhen I am frustrated with the shape and size of my body, I remind myself that it gave me these 3 incredible people. The stretch marks and loose skin may always be there, but I can, and will lose the weight. I’ll likely never model a bikini, but that’s more than okay. I gained the weight for them and now I’ll lose it for them.See this image largerAnyone else more exited about the prospect of their wedding rings fitting again than any clothes they own? Maybe in another few months...See this image largerDrinking my rainbowSee this image largerI’m not even done yet. Feeling less bad about that calorie heavy salad I had at lunch now. 😁See this image largerTreat yo self 🍾See this image largerSee this image largerWho needs spaghetti when you can have carrots?See this image largerHobbies keep me too busy to get overeat. I made this wreath. Love it!See this image largerFinally cooled down in the Phoenix area to get outside.See this image largerThe cool thing about losing weight at the same rate that your baby is gaining weight is that you have a great physical representation of your weight loss right there. He also makes a great addition weight for squats. 😁👶🏼See this image largerI’m usually all about the small, locally owned places, but I love First Watch eggs Benedict Florentine. And I love how many places now have greens as a side option for breakfast. Get than rainbow in early!See this image largerSee this image largerNot bad for a 200 calorie snack made out of leftoversSee this image largerI did this Disney half marathon years ago with my daughter, and I absolutely loved it. And then I abruptly stopped running. I am finally getting back into it and just proclaimed on Facebook that I will run a 15k on December 2. It seriously helps me to make stuff public. I know I will do it now. I’ll have to finish my couch to 10k a bit quicker, and it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m going to do it.See this image largerIs it low calorie? Nope. But it has way more fiber and protein than normal pasta and is absolutely delicious. My 8 month old and 3 year old are chowing down, and I had one satisfying cup. I found it at Costco. Great pasta alternative.See this image largerI’m not obese anymore! My weight finally dropped again. 180’s here I come! Also, there’s a hair IN my scale and it grosses me out but I can’t get it out of there. 😂See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerFinally in the 180’s after being 191-195 for what felt like forever. I cut all carbs other than those found in fruits and veggies, stepped up the running and completely stopped any little nibbles that I couldn’t track.See this image largerDon’t forget this!See this image largerGet them active early 😁See this image largerSee this image largerBeautiful place to get some more steps in.See this image largerAmen. It’s not like we only get good days and bad days. Going over by 400 calories is a lot less damaging than going over by 4000 calories. You ate the brownie? Okay. Feeling like you ate one, may as well eat the pan? That’s not how this works! We will slip here and there, but damage control is a big part of the journey.See this image largerFat bombs- awesome for keto, no sugar diets, or adding a little fat when you notice your ratios are off. These are super satisfying and paired with a big glass of water to zap your munchies. Recipes are all over pinterest. I did coconut, chocolate, cashew butter and lime berry. Delish!See this image larger222 to 188. I am almost halfway through this. I was out the door before 6am for a run, and I really pushed it. I feel great.See this image largerSee this image largerYes he slows me down, but he’s still my favorite adventure buddy. I’m happy to be instilling a lifelong love of the outdoors and activity.See this image largerI agree. I don’t eat carbs Mon- Thur, so when my husband makes burgers tonight, I will not have a bun because I don’t eat those. I don’t think of it as I can’t eat it. I can, but I don’t.See this image largerSee this image largerYep. We only get one. Although Futurama suggests we may have head in a jar technology at some point...See this image largerNot pretty, but extremely filling. Low carb, high protein pumpkin pancakes- 1/4 cup almond flour, 1/4 cup canned pumpkin, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice mix, 1 egg. Mine needed to be flipped twice to cook properly.See this image largerI just put on workout clothes, went for a run, got all sweaty, showered, then changed into fresh workout clothes because it’s a beautiful day, so why not work out again? Also, I want to make this shirt.See this image largerIs there a better feeling than being soaked in sweat before the sun even rises?See this image largerI was going to post this on Facebook, but I think this is a more appropriate place. I always worry that my heavier Facebook friends may think I am looking down upon them when I talk about this journey. I read this and thought someone may interpret it as me saying, “It’s all your fault.” It’s obviously not my intention. But honestly, this is all on us. I think this community knows this thought comes from a place of empowerment and not blame.See this image largerCleaning out my car sort of made me laugh. Most people would be gathering up fast food garbage. 🤣See this image largerI just did the math and I have lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks. I am months into losing a bit over 1 pound per week, and then hit a plateau. I cut back my sugar and refined carbs even more, and increased the intensity of my workouts. I keep preaching this, but I also stopped the little bites of untracked food. If you are stuck, DO NOT GIVE UP. Change things up and push through. There may be a new pants size waiting for you on the other side.See this image largerThe one disadvantage of having kids that like healthy foods is that you always have to share. My first red pear was completely confiscated by my 3 year old, and this Bartlett is now a slobber bomb.See this image largerI have been craving a huge breakfast burrito for days, so I made a healthy one. Sweet potato, onion, spinach, 1 egg, 1 ounce of chicken chorizo, 1/2 ounce of cheese, a touch of guac and enchilada sauce on a low carb tortilla. Heaven!See this image largerEvery day that I have struggled to stop eating I realize I have not drank much water. Seriously every time since starting this 7 months ago. If you are feeling munchy, more hungry than usual, or craving something bad, DRINK WATER FIRST. It stops me every time.See this image largerWhoa yum. If you have a The Habit drive through, get the veggie burger. 470 calories, huge, and delicious. Their ahi tuna sandwich is great too. Fast does not have to mean super unhealthy.See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerTaking the messy bun to new messiness levels, but so happy to wear this top again. It was a former favorite before pregnancies, but showed every little bulge and roll after them. It looks okay again!See this image largerI know I’m not alone on this 😂🤣See this image largerSee this image largerSuper good frittata- sweet potato, onion, spinach, sharp white cheddar, egg beaters. I love this flavor combo.See this image largerI am all about finding that balance between pushing myself and working hard, but also not going crazy. If you need to sleep instead of going to the gym, do it. If you mess up, forgive yourself and then work harder. Just don’t forgive yourself back into bad eating habits 🤣.See this image largerEat your veggiesSee this image largerSee this image largerSee this image largerLeft over dinner veggies become lunch pizza toppings. Low carb tortilla for the crust.See this image largerI actually have a way, way easier time not eating full size bars than those evil little minis. “Just one more” gets said too often on the little guys. The first 60 trick or treaters get these big ones. I’ll buy the smaller ones closer to Halloween for the rest of the kiddos. Maybe I’ll go back to my old method of just getting the ones I’m not crazy about. Butterfingers and Skittles? I can definitely say no to those. Peanut M&M’s? Mini Snickers? 🤤🤤🤤See this image largerAll of this on top of a bed of riced cauliflower and chopped cabbage. I topped it with just a touch of sweet onion dressing and a couple dashes of chipotle Tabasco.See this image largerMy body has transcended the 3 macros and now gets nutrients from a 4th one known as the pumpkin spice macro. (Yes it was just a little glitch that fixed itself 🤣)See this image largerBeautiful hike with the little guys this morning. The absolute best part about getting in better shape is that I can have mornings like that without being out of energy for the rest of the day. I feel like I am giving my kids enriching lives.See this image largerI found the perfect kindness rock while running 5 miles this morning. I keep adding a mile a week. I’m slow but feeling great about the upcoming 15k.See this image largerSee this image largerChips and dip under 100 calories. Greek yogurt with everything but the bagel seasoning.See this image largerI love seeing the weight come off of my face. I feel like me again.See this image largerWhy did I wait so long to try persimmons? Delicious! I made a zucchini pie with them on top.See this image largerI’m sure tonight will be full of treats, so I’m staying extra light all day.See this image largerMy pets make me breakfast. I love how they are blueish green.See this image largerCooking healthy means everyone eats healthySee this image largerThis was it. This was all of the Halloween candy I ate today. It is unreal how little I have to fight it. I can promise anyone struggling that it gets easier. The less sugar you eat, the less you want it. Trust me, I ate some on Halloween, and a couple pieces yesterday, but it’s out of my system. Stick with it! Cravings ease. Fight them until it’s second nature to just not want it. It will happen.See this image largerWell that was the prettiest breakfast ever.See this image larger3.7 up, 3.7 down. Gorgeous way to spend an afternoon! And not bad for a pic taken by a 3 year old, right?See this image largerI voted early, but if you didn’t, today is your day. Midterms matter. Your voice matters.See this image largerIf you showed me this a year ago and told me it would be my lunch today, I world have asked where the rest of it was. But I have learned to listen to my body. When you don’t need much, don’t eat much! I’m always hungry for a 3pm snack, so a small lunch is totally reasonable for me. No need to fill a big plate just because it’s supposed to be a meal.See this image largerMy method of loading my plate with vegetables really does help me. This cauliflower crust pizza is great, but not super healthy if I eat the whole thing. I stay in my one serving by stuffing myself with water and salad too. And I swear balsamic glaze makes even the most boring salad totally delicious. Honestly it would make a shoe delicious.See this image largerSee this image largerPretty sure I can never give up cream in my coffee. It’s worth the 30 calories for me. Plus it’s so pretty!See this image largerGreen bean casserole from scratch. So much better than that gloppy soup!See this image larger40lbs gone, 30 more to go. It’s not fast, but it is steady. #BeforeAndAfterSee this image largerSee this image largerA small fraction of the food and a small fraction of the family. Early Thanksgiving was definitely a binge, but it was really just turkey and a million vegetable sides. One small piece of pecan pie was more than enough dessert.See this image largerI actually felt really pretty today. Somebody called it closet shopping to finally get to wear something you haven’t fit into.See this image largerMarch to today. 40lbs gone. I really wish I had taken measurements because I know I lost so many inches on my tummy.See this image largerThe arugula, cucumber and radishes were grown in my neighborhood. I live in an agrihood, and we are part of the CSA. I love that is has forced me to have veggies I normally wouldn’t buy. I was never a fan of raw radishes before. They tasted like spicy dirt to me. But I kept trying them, and now I like them. And holy cow a fresh cucumber is soooo much better than any store bought one I have ever had. My 9 month old chows them down plain. If you have a CSA in your area, I highly recommend it!See this image largerSometimes The Onion is too real 😂See this image largerZupa Toscana with sweet potato swapped for white, turkey bacon, chicken sausage and hardly any cream. It has the calories of a broth based veggie soup and the satisfaction of a super rich soup. Kids, baby and husband loved it too.See this image largerWorking on building up that 4th option of going for a run and then actually fixing the issue 🤣😂See this image largerTo everyone trying to eat in moderation today-See this image largerMy plans for the week-See this image largerSee this image largerYum! Great hummus substitute!See this image largerNo better feeling in the world. No better motivation to be my healthiest.See this image largerWhat a beauty! Referring to the local lettuce of course.See this image largerWe’re all getting a little tired of turkey, but mixed with fresh veggies and a splash of teriyaki makes a tasty lettuce wrap.See this image largerApples are okay, but Opal apples are incredible. If you see these, buy them!See this image largerSee this image largerRan 15k this morning. 12 min mile pace, which is slow for most but great for me. That was a perfect distance. I feel accomplished, but not destroyed like after the half marathon I ran.See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerThis hit a little too close to home 😂 but working on those full body shots!See this image largerPlateau busted. Hair still annoyingly trapped in scale, but goodbye 180’s! Like a visiting in-law, it was great to see you, but you stuck around way too long.See this image largerNot feeling deprived tonight! Roasted carrots, sweet potatoes, radishes, and beets with a fresh dill sauce, creamed spinach and kale, and one delicious steak.See this image largerThis is my usual breakfast now. 1 egg either pouched or over easy, and vegetables. I either use fresh salad mix or leftover veggies from dinner the night before. It starts my day with a couple servings of veggies, is less than 200 calories, and takes the guess work out of breakfast. It’s also low calorie enough that I can do a late morning snack if I want without being over where I want to be.See this image largerSo this is the camera on my porch. It is a wide angle lens, so it has shown me some of the most unflattering pictures I have ever seen of myself. I used to dread catching glimpses of myself when looking through the footage. But this caught me by surprise. I thought I was someone else! My husband told me weeks ago that he thought I was some “random skinny woman” or one of my teenager daughter’s friends. Hooray for looking not terrible in the doorbell cam! 😂See this image largerGoing for a perfect December. I’m busy and injured, but I am making it a priority.See this image largerMy coat from heavier days now fits me and my baby! He stayed cozy at the neighborhood Christmas party.See this image largerI woke up craving fruit for breakfast, but I know if I don’t get at least a little fat or protein, it doesn’t stick to me. I would be hungry in 40 minutes. I made this peanut sauce that I usually use for chicken. 2 parts natural peanut butter and 1 part coconut oil. Microwave it for 10 seconds and stir. A little bit goes a long way! It’s awesome with savory food, and just as good with fruit. Also awesome with ice cream, but this is a healthy app after all. 🤣See this image largerSee this image largerThis was divine. A cross between fried green tomatoes and a warm caprese. Sautéed green tomatoes, fresh basil, ricotta, and balsamic.See this image largerI DO love my cozy sweaters 🤣See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerI can run over 10 miles. I can play with high energy children for hours and hours. I do max weight reps on two weight machines. But nothing, nothing is as draining as Target on the Saturday before Christmas.See this image largerMe, 30 minutes into keto.See this image largerMerry Christmas!!!See this image largerDefinitely love spending 3 hours at the zoo and not feeling the least bit tired. My critter with a critter.See this image largerNSV x 2 today I loaned my baby carrier to my sister in law who I think of as way smaller than I am, and I didn’t have to adjust the waist after she used it. We have the same size waist! Sure her legs, butt and arms are smaller, but I’ll take it! I appeared in a group photo, and I don’t hate it at all!See this image largerI like this one. I think a lot of people think about “not being fat.” It helps me to focus on what I want to do and how I want to live. Being overweight hinders my ability to live the life I want, so I am working on it. My goals are not simply about weight loss. I want to run more and faster. I want to hike wherever I please. I want adventures and fun. Think of the positives beyond looking better.See this image largerPerfect month! Assuming I don’t blow it today. I got sick, exercised anyway. I injured my foot, but exercised anyway. I traveled, was exhausted and busy, but I still did it!See this image largerDelicious! Vegan, no added sugar, no net carbs (2g minus 2g of fiber) and only 30 calories per 2 tablespoon serving. I mixed 1 tablespoon into my eggs this morning and it was delicious. Yesterday I dipped beet chips into it.See this image largerThis is sitting in my Amazon cart waiting for me to lose the last 28 pounds. Will I ever look like the model? 😂 Hahaha noooo, but I loved my other high waisted bikini when I was at 150, so I am guessing this will be similar. It’s exciting to think that THIS summer I will be at goal weight. Yes it took over a year, but it’s definitely happening!See this image largerNever underestimate the power of the bento box to get your kids to eat healthier.See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerNever underestimate the power of the bento box for little ones. He’s been a touch picky lately, but was happy to eat this. 🍱See this image largerI won’t cuss out loud, but in my head it’s a #%*€ storm. Especially attempting push ups.See this image largerWell hello, MEDIUM sweater. Nice to see you again.See this image largerChicken noodle minus the noodle. I didn’t miss it at all. I make the broth from scratch in my slow cooker and it makes all my soups delicious. I just use the bones from whenever we have a rotisserie chicken, chicken wings or legs, fill the pot with water, generous dash of salt, and set it low overnight. Then strain out the bones and bits.See this image largerI got my hair cut. I asked for two inches off but apparently I could have asked for 4 or 5 off because it looks the same. 🤣See this image largerI feel a little silly chugging this huge thing, but I have been terrible about water lately. My husband bought me this gallon jug, and I’m nearly done before late afternoon. Probably won’t fit in my car or gym equipment cupholders though...🤣See this image largerSee that creamy, milkshakey texture? Frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened coco, and a spoon of peanut butter = milkshake craving taken care of in less than 200 calories. But how am I supposed to get rid of all these boys gathering in my yard?See this image largerLol okay 🤣😂. This sounds totally realistic, safe, and truthful. And we wonder why people are confused about nutrition and weight loss. There are plenty of snake oils, and flat out lies out there. If it seems too good to be true, it is. If someone is going to make $$$ off of you, take anything they claim with a grain of salt. And apparently beware of Pinterest, because I swear nearly half the info on there looks like this.See this image largerI am all about the frozen banana smoothies, but I was always hesitant to use them with coffee. Coffee and banana? Uh... but it works! No I don’t think Starbucks is going to replace the Frappuccino with this, but it was an awesome mid day treat. I did iced coffee, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, a sprinkle of unsweetened cocoa, half a frozen banana, and ice. You may need some sweetener. You can find a million exact recipes online.See this image largerPosted a photoSee this image largerOne of my favorite Costco finds. These are salty, but so good and they need no sauce. Plus they are a protein you can microwave! 190 calories in 4 of them make a great snack if you notice your protein is low. Or pair them with veggies for a quick meal. Husband, teen, child and baby also love them.See this image largerFun fact- purple carrots will in fact turn your soup purple. 🤷‍♀️See this image largerThis guy discovered he loves RX bars. I’m happy to have another minimally processed, healthy, easy snack for him, but they’re expensive and I want them all for myself 🤣.See this image largerAmazing lunch at Pita Jungle with just my boys and me. They were super well behaved and both chowed down on veggies and healthy foods. I highly recommend Pita Jungle, but I am pretty sure it’s only an AZ chain. Great for keto, vegan, slow carb, and just healthy eating.See this image largerWe all have them. Those people that create drama where there otherwise wouldn’t be any. Mine struck yesterday and I immediately put on my running shoes. I am happy that’s my reaction now. No ice cream needed! (Although they both still deserve a good whack with a binder 🤣)See this image largerAlmost 50 pounds gone forever. The last 25 pounds are taking forever to come off, but I am still chipping away. #BeforeAndAfterSee this image largerMy major nsv today was eating less than one tiny piece of my little guy’s birthday cake.See this image largerSee this image largerOne more post pushing weight lifting / strength training. Left was 5 years ago, when I was 30 pounds LIGHTER. My arms look better now despite not being down to that weight yet. What the scale says does not show a complete picture. Tone it up! Imagine getting to your goal weight AND revealing more and more muscles as you get there.See this image largerSee this image largerI’m not doing keto, but I am still a huge fan of fat bombs as a rich, decadent, and super satiating treat here and there. This is 2 parts natural peanut butter and 1 part coconut oil. I put it in a little ramekin and froze it. Tastes like peanut butter fudge! Zaps all of my munchies too.See this image largerI’m experimenting with keto for 10 days, or as I like to call it, The Put Homemade Ranch on Everything Plan.See this image largerWhat would your weight loss book be titled? Mine would be Cucumber is Just as Good as Chips and Other Lies We Tell Ourselves: Linsey’s Usually Fine but Sometimes Tortuous Journey to Lose 70 Pounds. 🤣See this image largerI made this shirt for my som and he’s obsessed with it 😀See this image largerI may need to make this tee before all my summer camping 😜See this image largerHas anyone not lost weight their first week of keto? I’m not cheating. My macros are nearly perfect. I’m still doing plenty of hard cardio and weights. I know it’s only been a week, but in the past I always lost at least 5lbs the first week.See this image largerWhen you marry someone in IT, you can’t expect anything less nerdy. Or maybe it’s keto dinner, Valentine’s addition?See this image largerKeto people that need a quick, one serving treat- I’m sure I would catch more eyes with a pic of the mug cake, but this was seriously delicious. I added a little scoop of Enlightened ice cream. I had to use Splenda because it’s the only sweetener that doesn’t mess with my tummy, and even with Splenda it was great. I imagine with a sugar alcohol it would be extra tasty.See this image largerMy weight loss has really slowed since early December. Looking at what’s different, I haven’t been running. At first a foot injury made me switch to the bike or other cardio, and then I just stuck to that for a while. I’m still burning calories for sure, but running really works for my body. Today I will be finding a half marathon to train for. Races always get me going.See this image largerSo nice to be excited about clothes again! I used to dread occasions that required dressing up, now it’s fun to shop again. And you know what’s really exciting? POCKETS! I swear women just want it to fit, feel nice and HAVE POCKETS.See this image largerSeriously. What are we showing our kids if we quit because it’s challenging? If we make up excuses? If we fill our bodies with garbage?See this image largerCan you tell she’s my daughter?See this image largerSee this image largerWell this is encouraging. I was feeling particularly bloopy around the tummy today, but comparing to December (the top), I see improvement. I didn’t even suck it in! I wish I had taken tummy pics when I started in March.See this image largerI promise it’s possible to work out with kids. I swear they are my favorite vegetable, and I previously thought I didn’t like them.See this image largerSwapped cauliflower for pasta and I didn’t miss it at all. I swear for cheese sauces cauliflower is better than pasta. You taste the sauce more with cauliflower, but with pasta it sort of makes the sauce more bland. Chicken apple sausage, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil completed it.See this image largerI have been 170’s since November. Finally a new low! It just took getting sick and not eating for a day 😂. Whatever, I will take whatever silver lining from feeling this miserable that I can find.See this image largerScale victory and non scale victory today! Pants I have never fit into, and a medium top. Muffin top is shrinking daily! 168.0 today puts me 18lbs to goal weight, 9 lbs away from normal bmi (I know bmi is a super flawed measurement) and finally ends my very long plateau. I’ve lost 54 lbs since last March and I’m never going back.See this image largerCreamsicle smoothie- Frozen pineapple chunks Fresh orange Unsweetened vanilla almond milk Scoop of vanilla protein powder Dash of vanilla extractSee this image largerI started getting serious a year ago. I was never a terrible eater, and never truly sedentary, but I still had habits to break. My weight loss has dramatically slowed since November. (I know exactly why, and that will change soon.) But I am still proud of losing over 50 lbs this year. #BeforeAndAfterSee this image larger2 toddlers and one adult agree- delicious base for lunch. We added chicken and broccoli. I love all the positivity and support, BUT YOU’RE ALL ALWAYS POSTING PICS OF YOUR COFFEE AND IT LOOKS SO GOOD THAT I HAVE TO GET UP AND MAKE MYSELF SOME! You are all responsible for my kids losing sleep. 😂🤣☕️☕️☕️See this image largerWell I made a huge sacrifice and sampled multiple brands and flavors of the healthier (still not exactly healthy) ice creams. This stuff is the creamiest, tastiest, and cheapest. I found it at Trader Joe’s for $1.99 a pint. Its calorie count is a bit higher than the other sugar alcohol ice creams, so if you have a hard time with not eating the whole pint, maybe stick with a Halo Top or other lower calorie type. But this flavor, and the chocolate toffee, are heaven!See this image largerWell the pic is sideways, but this combo is delicious! When they are cooked in the broth, it tends to taste like spicy baby food to me. This is just roasted carrots, homemade chicken broth, salt, pepper, and curry powder. I added a touch of goat cheese and fresh herbs to top it off. I used to just get to the 600 calorie and 30 minute rings closed and pretty much stop. I push for 1000 and 60 minutes now. On weekends I go well over a 1000 and do 90-120 min of exercise.
