Celebrating one month on my weight loss journey! Today I weighed myself, I stayed the same as last week. I am happy being that it was Thanksgiving week. I have been feeling better, enjoying picking out different outfits to wear, and thinking to myself that it looks good!! Why do we wait so long to take care of ourselves? Why do we put ourselves last? Hopefully with Christmas coming soon, I will put myself before I tackle my Santa list! "Ho! Ho! Ho!Started my weight loss journey the end of October, 2017, today I can celebrate that I have lost 20 pounds. The weight loss has been slow from Christmas until now. I have slowed up and was enjoying my cozy warm home. Yesterday I started back to the gym, I hope to see my scales go down a little faster. I have noticed how my clothes fit better. I have a goal to loose another 20 pounds one day at a time!! #BeforeAndAfterI joined a gym today with a friend, we have a year membership. It is new to the area, so our monthly fee is $10.00 a month. It has a Imax theater in it with treadmills, bikes, elliptical, etc., a movie was playing so it makes time go by fast! We went through the legs and arm weights, had fun! Our plan is to go three times a week! I needed to do this to get my body moving more! (Feeling Happy)I saw this picture in a magazine and thought that I will share it!! PATRICK'S Day!!I lost a pound and a half! It hasn't been coming off easy, I have been going to the gym three times a week, stepping up my pace! 8.5 pounds away from first goal!! I have been working out three times a week, drinking my water on most days, and getting better with tracking my food. My scales are staying the same, but I think with a little more effort on my part, the scales should start to move.Today I want to celebrate getting to my first goal that I set for myself which was 165 lbs. I WEIGH 164.8!!! I have also had a bathing suit hanging up for me to look better in during the winter, last week I tried it on and it looks like by the end of the summer I may wear it outside! Maybe? I still have some tightening to do in the belly and thighs. I am happy to be where I am at, but I can try harder with less sitting and more exercises. #BeforeAndAfterI finally made it back here after a long vacation, I was gone from home for a month. I visited a lot of both sides of our family, then I went to spend 2 1/2 weeks with my 96 year old Mother! I did do some walking, but not enough drinking of my water, lifting weights, or watching what I was eatting. So today I am going back to the gym! I did manage to keep my weight about the same, but do know that I've lost some muscle tone. Have a great day everyone and keep up Sparking!I am celebrating my one year anniversary with SparkPeople! I am so thankful that this site exist! I have bragged to people about how much this site can inspire us!! I just spent approximately a hour and a half this morning, learning how others are changing their lives! This is my Halloween costume! My weight is 163 lbs. I plan on losing more weight, goal 20 pounds before October of 2019!!Today is a new day! I have gained weight between Thanksgiving and Christmas, approximately 6.4 pounds. I was getting on the scales, but by the end of the day, I would eat wrong. I went back to the gym yesterday, I made a smoothie for my breakfast, and I weighed in at 167.4. I am not happy that I have gone up instead of down, but I am thankful that all of you are my support. Thank You.I have been struggling with staying on track, I am starting today by writing down what I am eating, and keeping track of my water, and spending more time here on SparkP.
