#ProgressSpeaksForItself😌So I’ve had my twins.. And just like that I have 5 children now! The twins will be 4 months on Christmas and THIS momma is beyond ready to get back to her pre babies body!! I actually started on Monday and I’m excited to see the results that’ll come from my persistence. Of course, I can ALWAYS use some inspiration from my “Spark Family.”☺️The older I get, the more I appreciate being surrounded by genuinely positive people who genuinely want to see me happy and whole.

#EatingClean8 months post delivering my twins and progress is definitely being made. I’m down 27 lbs total now.I can’t believe the twins are already 8 months old! Time is definitely flying by a lot faster than I imagined and this momma is doing all she can to keep up. I’m learning to embrace and enjoy the journey. Raising my 5 children and getting my body back to what I call “normal” are major priorities in my life and I’m determined to be victorious in them both. Grateful to have a husband who loves and supports me through it all.♥️They say, “Go Hard Or Go Home”.. Well, I just Go Hard AT Home! I’m a mommy of 5.. 2 of which are twin 11 month olds and I must get it in by any means necessary!💪🏽

#EatingCleanMattersMy children are such a blessing to my husband and I and they’re also a huge part of my motivation to stay focused on my journey. Living a healthy lifestyle means that I’ll be around to enjoy them for years to come. ♥️So.. last night I decided to make vegetable spaghetti for dinner. I used zucchini spirals, veggie meat, organic tomato sauce, fresh mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, spinach, garlic and white onion. It was actually really good! I’m not at all a Vegan but I saw this and decided to make it and try it myself and I’m glad I did.☺️Another great meal! Tuna, spinach and sliced cherry tomatoes on gluten-free honey oat toasted bread w/ fresh fruit. It’s been so exciting finding different ways to to eat the things I like, in a way that’s more nutritious for my body.😋☺️Pizza I made myself. I used turkey pepperoni, cooked spinach, garlic, mushrooms, green, yellow and red bell peppers, black olives, white onion, avocado a little shaved Parmesan, Asiago and Romano cheese. I also used an organic sauce and crust. I must say, it was very good!😃😋Well, I’m super excited about being at the start of a whole new week! New week, new goals, new level of determination! By doing so, we can help prevent young girls and women from waiting the average of 7-10 years to get a diagnosis. 1 in 10 women have endometriosis and there are approximately 176 million women who suffer from it worldwide. Let’s show love and support to those who suffer and pray for a #cure to END #Endometriosis. #iAm1in10I was diagnosed with diabetes at 20 years old. I’m almost 35 now, so it is definitely something I am very adamant about keeping in check. This was another reason I decided to become proactive and take the more healthy route to improving my overall health. My fasting blood sugars have decreased significantly with my weight loss. I go for another A1C check this month and I have a feeling that it’ll be much better than the last.😉👌🏽

I used a green apple, cinnamon and oat milk to make. So good!😃😋I made French Toast with Turmeric! It actually mixes very well with the other ingredients and it was really good! I used Organic Raw Fit plant-based vanilla protein powder.. which is Vegan, gluten-free, soy free and dairy free. I also used a banana, a cup of sliced strawberries, a tbsp of low-fat yogurt, a tbsp of Monk Fruit, a Miracle Reds Superfoods packet and 2 cups of Silk’s 45 calorie vanilla almond milk.☺️So good!😋When you’re your own competition.. 💪🏽💪🏽

#MyJourneyContinuesThe prep for Kebabs.. we are doing these vegetables with chicken and shrimp and then throwing them on the grill. I absolutely love cooking with colors!😃😋My “new” version of a shrimp boil. I used Jumbo shrimp, baby red potatoes, corn on the cob and turkey sausage. I also used vegan butter, a little olive oil, garlic, basil and old bay. An old favorite, switched up a bit, but nevertheless, it turned out great. Really, really good! My family loved it as well.😃😋My husband, our kids and I made homemade pizzas together for dinner tonight and this one was mine! I used organic thin crust and sauce, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, onion, basil, turkey pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Turned out great!😃😋

We will definitely be having this dish again.😋☺️Cauliflower crust, roasted vegetables pizza was a hit! My husband and children loved it also. There will definitely be more in our future. My focus is pretty much about being realistic and being consistent because that’s how you get results that last. This looks like a dessert but it’s actually blueberry banana pancakes topped with a scoop of Chobani Complete mixed berry yogurt, semi cooked fresh blueberries and a little(barely visible) drizzle of 100% maple syrup. Omgoodness what deliciousness! 😋😋😋
Ingredients for pancakes:
2 Ripe Bananas
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Instant Oats
1/2 cup Blueberries...and just like that, our twins are 2! I have lost more than 70 lbs and I’ve come along way since my delivery of them and to be honest, every day I’m still learning and growing and becoming a better mommy to my 5 kids, a better wife to my husband of almost 17 years and overall, just a better, healthier me. This is my journey and though it’s certainly not easy trying to balance it all, I’m embracing it.. highs, lows and all.♥️♥️♥️I cut some fresh green beans and I steamed them. One of my favorites to eat! Delicious.. per usual. 😃😋Progress🙌🏾🙌🏾

#MyJourneyContinuesMy sentiments exactly.👌🏽☺️Today I decided to make a Pina Colada Smoothie and it was a hit with my husband and children as well with myself. I used half of a fresh banana, 1 cup of fresh pineapple chunks, a little pinch of coconut flakes, 1/2cup of coconut water and 1/2cup of coconut milk. P.S. For mine I added a scoop of my (tasteless) multi collagen powder. I will definitely be making this again!😋😃Breakfast was delicious!😃😋
I made gluten-free pancakes 🥞 topped with fresh banana slices, chopped walnuts and a little drizzle of an Organic and gluten-free 100% Maple Syrup. Loved it!
