Now what should be my challenge for next week?Hit a small plateau this week, which is when I usually give up and say "why bother" but reading through posts here has been kept me moving and tracking, even on the not-so-good days. 5 lbs in 3 weeks, not so bad!Over an hour at the gym and feeling good!Bought some healthy snacks for the week. M&M yogurt is certainly healthier than M&M cookies! Besides that got some grapes, apples, naked drinks, single-serve popcorn bags, low fat cheese, and gum for when I just need to munch on something.Day 1 down! Did everything but cook (that's my husband's job most nights) and eat 5 fruit/veg (got 4 if you count jam and corn, 2 if you don't).Had no idea that *this* is what 1oz of cheese looks like. Turns out I've been eating much more than I thought.5 pounds down!!! I wanted to do one of photos with bags of sugar or boxes of butter, but this was the closest thing in my fridge to 5 pounds, lol.Great quote I saw on Instagram.Another challenge week in the books. Is it just me or did this week fly by super fast?I couldn't believe my eyes this morning! That's nearly 3 lbs down from yesterday. I know it's just water weight and I fully expect a correction tomorrow, but for the moment, Whoo Hop! Also please ignore the very dirty scale ;-)Almost forgot to update my chart. Today's crazy dip puts me below the 2lb/wk goal line, but I won't be upset if it turns out to just be water weight. Still a nice downeard trend.An AM workout at home, a walk around the conference center grounds before dinner, and oh yea I had not one but TWO salads today! And my room is literally next door to the fitness center, so I have no excuse to not work out tomorrow morning. Getting back on track today. 20 minute walk with the dog this AM. Planned my meals. Reviewed my goals. Ready for today!
Also, this quote came up in my cryptograms game yesterday. I'm using it as my personal mantra now.15,000 steps today! Plus 1.5 hours of swimming.Of course I decide to get back into an AM gym routine on the first day it frosts over and had to spend several minutes looking for my ice scraper, which meant I had less time when I actually got to the gym. But the important part is that I went! And being at 5000 steps before 7am isn't bad way to start the day. Spark On, everyone!Leg day at the gym, and got to see a great moon over the water.Wii Fit this morning Focused more on the strength and stretching games today, and 10 mins of hula hooping. Abs will be feeling that later. Running along a sunny beach with friends and a dog, virtually at least.Taking a break from homework to get 10 minutes in.Gonna feel this tomorrow! We both crossed 10K!Starting to see more arm definition! Lifting heavy helps, but while I'm stuck at home the max I have is 20lb dumbbells, so I've started doubling them up when doing curls.
