Instead I switched up my workout and tweaked my diet! I started lifting weights on upper and lower body on different days and following my weight workout I started a 25 min HiiT workout ( before I’d do 50 minutes of straight cardio). This is already working wonders!! Since January I’ve lost 22 pounds of the total 72 pounds total and all naturally since last Feb when I had our baby. I’ve had to do alternative exercises that don’t strain my heel or put pressure on since January 2018 but if I can do it.. so can you!! I today was my “free day” but I felt so out of sorts from not working out that I raced to the gym and got it in anyway. Felt so good! But my dinner is what I’m soooo proud of and wanted to share with those looking for low carb options. I made homemade egg rolls with only 4 carbs per egg roll including filling! We know that the average egg roll has at least 30 carbs for one! I made them with YUBA! Now I’m in love !See this image largerIt’s looked so bad but taste sooo good and best of all it was low carb high protein! For my taco salad I cut my Yuba up in triangles and pan fried them in coconut oil, once fried sprinkled with sea salt. They were super light and crispy! Yuba chips on my plate were a total of 5 carbs and 16 protein. Next I had vegan “beef” crumbles sautéed on top with the other standard toppings.
