I haven't tracked my food the past 2 days. I'm pretty sure I ate more than I should to.Good morning.
Halloween turned out to be another no log day for me. We had a chili cook off at work (free chili) and with as low as I am on groceries (can't go shopping till next week) I did eat some. Now I just have to work around the obstacle of Halloween candy in the house.Found these at Dollar Tree today. Definitely couldn't pass them up. I plan to make a fun mix/match routine with these.Not bad for my first day back to tracking. I had the flu (actual influenza...not the stomach "flu") and am still trying to recover. No exercise today, but it was my second day back to work. My appetite still hasn't returned.Anything is possible with time and dedication. 😊
(Dec 25, 2011 vs Dec 25, 2017)Back to working out. Still a bit conjested so I will have to be careful, but overall it felt great to get back to it.Workout done. I did Jillian Michael's Killer Body: Rock Hard Abs. Definitely had my HR up. Avg HR of 143 bpm. Then I did the 30DayChallenge App - Full Body Day 2. It's still early so I'm only 24 oz into my water intake for the day. Breakfast was Greek yogurt, a banana, and coffee with cream for a total of 430 calories.I think Spark is overinflating my exercise transfer a bit.
If I go by Fitbit: 1631 consumed, 11 remaining with a 750 cal deficit = estimated burn total for the day is 2392.
Spark without exercise gives me a goal of 1200-1550. It added 1,011 for my Fitbit activity which is actually putting me just below/over Fitbits numbers for the day. Any idea how to fix this without unlinking them?My starting point for 2018: 143 lbs, BMI 24.2 and 35.2% BF
Goal: 118 lbs/BMI 19.9 approximately with 21% BF
I say approximately on the weight/BMI goal, because I might need to do a bulk/cut cycle to reach my desired BF% and that will impact my weight.

💪Thigh : 22.25"Not a bad day today. First day to hit 10k steps in awhile. I did Jillian Michael's 10 Min Body- Booty Blast today and Fit Girls Guide 28 Day Jumpstart Day 2. I did decrease my deficit from 750 to 500. I think aiming for the 750 a day deficit was a bit steep at my weight. I found myself over 100-200 over most days. I will settle with a lower rate of loss if it's easier to stick to.Just finished Jillian Michael's Killer Cardio level 1 workout. After work I really just wanted a nap, but I told myself to at least attempt 5 mins and if after 5 mins I still wanted to pass out I could stop. Well 5 mins came and went; before I knew it I was done.Woot🎉🎉 It's been a long time since I've ended the day with so much green. 🎊🎉✨Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 done.
I helped put together 53 hospital beds at work today. I work on the Assembly line at a factory that makes the beds used in hospitals, nursing homes, ect. It's a small factory with only one Assembly line. Days like today leave me exhausted and wanting a nap, but I still pushed through to get my workout in.Another day with lots of green. Today was even better than yesterday. I was able to get more steps, more active hours and did better on my protein intake (94g today).Short work out today. I feel it though. Super glad I bought this Jillian Michael's DVD when I saw them at Dollar Tree (bought 5 of her DVD s to mix up my routine).
I'm also down 3.7 lbs since Monday. I almost feel it's too good to be true and that I will see a 1 or 2 lb increase within the next couple days.I can't believe I've spent just over 5 hrs working out this week.Darn. The expected increase happened. Not much. Just 0.7 lb. That said my scale is estimating my BF dropped 1.9% from either Monday or Tuesday when I did my SculptU measurements. Can't wait till Tuesday when I do the SkulptU measurements again to see if the scale is right.
~SculptU is a Body Fat measurement tool. It's a handheld device that I use to measure 22 different spots on my body. It requires at least 3 measurements (tricep, abdominal, and quad) to estimate BF%. ~Today's workout is done.

It was a fun workout. It through me off a bit when she said it was over. Honestly didn't feel like I had been working out very long.Not a bad end to the week.

Today after a week of Jillian Michael's workouts (various DVD's), 90,455 steps, and an avg intake of 1971 a day:
139.8 lbs (4lb drop) with 33.1% BF (2.1% drop)
The body fat change means:
Lean mass increased by 0.3 lbs
Fat mass decreased by 4.3 lbs
I know it's only week 1, but at my weight that is a pretty big change. Definitely felt that one. My upper body needs some serious work. I haven't done any serious strength training since June (had to have surgery b/c of Mirena) and my upper body strength has definitely declined a lot.

I am down 4 lbs and 2.1% Body fat this week.
I ate an avg of 1958 calories a day last week.Woot. One challenge done today.I might not be able to move tomorrow. I've had a Fitbit since 2013 and this is the first time I have ever gotten this many steps in a day.My feet hurt after all that walking. I get a bit competitive. Started a Valley Loop race on Fitbit and was trying to get first place. Didn't make it sadly.
I did manage to get close to my normal calorie avg. My appetite just hasn't been here today. I know that if I didn't try to get close to my normal calories today, the next couple of days I would be struggling not to overeat (past experience tells me this). Still might struggle tomorrow since my activity was almost double my normal.2nd part to my cardio workout today.

Thought about skipping todays workout and doing it tomorrow. I'm tired and it is my birthday, but I decided to try.
And as gross as it is, my hair is actually wet with sweat. This workout kicked my butt. This is the first workout I've done that's actually had my hair end up wet so I'm kind of proud and grossed out at the same time.Jillian Michael's Killer Body- Firm Buns & Thighs
I actually did my workout before lunch today and took advantage of the unusually warm weather to take my kids to the park (eh, it's Missouri..one day you freeze and the next it's t-shirt weather).My sodium was really high yesterday and as a result I saw the scale go up a bit.
I did my start of the week Body Fat Scan though and saw something better.
Week 1: 35.2% , 143.8lbs, 93.2lbs lean 50.6lbs fat
Week 2: 33.1% , 139.8lbs, 93.5lbs lean 46.3lbs fat
Week 3: 32.5% , 141.8lbs, 95.7lbs lean 46.1lbs fat
So scale wise I only see 2 lbs change which at my weight is actually fine. However according to my scan I have lost 4.5lbs of fat and gained 2.5 lbs of lean mass. I call that a win.For those who were curious about how I got my Body Fat charts, they came from this device.
This is the Skulpt Scanner. You can use it to scan 3 - 22 different spots on the body. Along with body fat it estimates muscle density. The 3 spot scan is the minimum for a full body fat estimate. It is similar to a 3-point caliper test (tricep, abdomen and quad on dominant side). With the full body scan it will also point out possible muscle imbalances and recommend exercises to fix it.Yummy lunch.

Can't wait to lose the fat I gained when I tried Trinessa birth control pills. The majority of my clothes don't fit anymore, because of it. Well, actually it's my fault. I am the one who was eating over 3k cals a day, but those pills made me really hungry and feel like I was in the early stages of pregnancy for 3 months. 😫I'd say today was a pretty productive dayCardio Day

I fully admit today has been a lazy day. I am about 2,500 steps from my 12k step goal and debating if I want to do it or not. I really should get off my butt and walk, but the tired side of me is just going "eh...". 😂
