The summer is flying by!The kids will be here for my birthday weekend! September sure came fast!I went to a craft festival today with my DS. I had a salad for lunch and did some shopping at Walmart. Headed over to DS home to help him give his a dog a bath. That should be fun!A park with walking track behind our store. When it cools off I will be walking the track again. Men at work The sidewalks are finally done at my house!Out with friends celebrating birthdays. We went to Cabelas and then eating at a steak house in Kansas City. Nice evening. 78 degrees. So glad that fall is on its way! Cooler today. Mom has shingles. She got some anti viral meds. She is resting today and trying to deal with the pain. I pray none of us ever have shingles. We went to a craft festival today. 63 degrees. Pearl did pretty good at the groomers and looks great!I did some house work, made pot pie to take to mom and decorated the front porch. I will be watching the Chiefs play football tonight. Our trees are beginning to change in Missouri. A little snow and more coming. Happy Halloween! We got 3 inches of snow last night but the sun is shining now and it melted away. This is my favorite tree from our old neighborhood. I have posted pics of it over the years. I drove by today and it was gone! The new neighbors cut it down. I am sad.Can’t believe it’s already December. The ice we had last night brought down three large limbs around our yard. We only got about 2 inches of snow today. The snow started around 5:30 this morning. Maybe we won’t get the freezing rain. The ice covered everything! The sun is shining today, but it is very cold and windy. Another picture of ice We still have ice. It’s too cold to melt it away. I haven’t left the house since Friday. This is thick Ice on the deck. We are cooking hamburgers on the grill and making homemade ice cream with a berry pie. Found this big critter on my tomatoes and his whole family! Hubby put about 45 bags of rock around my plants this weekend and helped me get rid of those worms! We got our hay baled today. There are about 40 large bales. My flowers are blooming in the back yard. Day lilies and a geranium in the frog. Can’t believe August is here!The storm rolls in. It is haying time in our field again. The weather has been beautiful most of the week! I enjoyed sitting n the deck watching the tractor go. The farmer is a friend of ours. A very unusual cloud formation by our house tonight.
