I changed my lifestyle seven weeks ago tomorrow. I finally went back to being a vegetarian after a 5 year lapse. The food part is going well, it is the working out, and it really is just having to get up at 5am to do it. I don't mind walking outdoors at 5am, but February isn't the month to do that. Although we've had mild weather until today. I do have my free weights and my dance and tae bo videos to get me through, and I enjoy doing them, I just don't know if I enjoy doing it when the sun is still asleep.
But I did get up today and do my lower body. 30 minutes worth. And I did walk to the subway today (3/4 mile) even though it was -6 with the windchill.
I found a Jillian Michael's DVD on Netflix that is an instant watch. I did this yestarday. The routine is not hard at all, very repetitive, however, it does get the heart beating. I think I'll do that one once a week, it's a Netflix perk so why not.
My friend Mattie, who started her vegetarian lifestyle on January 1st has lost 15 lbs without excersising. From January 1st, I've lost 12 killing myself. Granted, I am bigger than she, but some people have all the luck.
Oh well, worry about myself. I am happy for her, she was excited.
